CONSIDER THIS:
1.A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, ... The Bishop, then, is to be a man of good name, the husband of one wife. The husband of one wife. A married man, and having only one wife

2.What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. ... A bishop then must be blameless. NOT a divorce polygamy and adultery.1Timothy 3:2

Since a Bishop is a husband of one wife, not a wife of one man, This is a simple grammer, then why do some Churches Elect women as a bishop? Secondly if a Bishop is the Husband of one wife, why is it some young men who are not married, without pastors under them are been Elected as Bishop as well?

Lastly,A bishop must be blameless, why is it some pastors who divorces their wives and re-marry and re-marry again are been elected to the office of a bishop? Is it not polygamy and adultery?

PROPER CONJUGAL RELATIONS

He is to be the husband of one wife. Of course this means that he is to be husband of but one at a time. He must not have two living wives. This neither requires that a preacher be married—though, in most cases, it is best that he should; nor forbids him to marry again if his wife dies.I think the book of titus says a bishop must have children (Titus 1:6) adds, “having faithful children, not accused of riot or unruly.” If the foregoing requirement means that a bishop must be married, then this one means that it is not enough for a man to be married

Praise the Lord Preachers!

I started a ministry as a result of being on the outside looking in at devasted marriages amongst the clergy, a few of which are my dearest friends. After being with the same man for 24 years, my marriage ended in divorce. One day, I will admit, I could not help but say to Lord, "Lord, I don't want to walk alone on this journey. Lord I need a Godly man in my life." I was checking out the online Christian venues and a couple of others in search of a replacement -- clearly not the answer for what I needed and required. LOL

Blessed be the Name of the Lord I have moved onward and upward holding fast to the things of which I believe; faithfully I can do all things through Jesus Christ our Lord who provides me with the strength to move forward under any circumstance or challenge that life may bring.

However, what was placed on my heart was an on-line interfaith community for single preachers to meet. In as much, I launched a site (truly a work in progress) under LifeLong Love Ministries, the place where single ministers meet. Right now I need your prayers and I am also open to feedback, input, partner(s) to help me with this ministry and more. Let's talk -- if you are interested in supporting this type of ministry. There are many on this site wonderfully blessed to be in a Holy marriage, and there are others that are single and looking. Let's keep it real. . .

In closing this message, do know that I Praise God from whom all blessings flow, I had no idea that this forum existed up until a few days ago. This site is a TREMENDOUS BLESSING TO ME. I am so happy to be here as it has been nothing less than edifying. I want you all to know that I am appreciative of the uplifting spiritual support and the engaging conversations as it concerns ministry and quality of life on a spiritual level. Thank you for being here and for being a blessing to me.

"And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth: But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it." (Mark 4:30-32

Jesus compares the workings of the kingdom of God to planting seeds in the earth. "When the seed is sown," He said, "it grows up...."

Notice He didn't say that it would occasionally grow up. Or it grows up if it's God's will. He said, "It grows up and becomes greater." Period.

God's economy isn't like ours. It isn't up one day and down the other. It's always the same and it always works perfectly. If you have good earth, good seed and good water, you're going to have growth. It's inevitable.

So, if you're facing a need, don't panic... plant a seed!

That seed may take the form of money or time or some other resources you have to give. But, no matter what form it takes, make sure you put life in it by giving it in faith and surrounding it with praise and worship. Say, "Lord, as I bring You my goods, I bring myself. I give myself to You--spirit, soul and body."

Pray over that seed. Fill it with faith, worship and the Word. Then plant it. You can rest assured--it will grow up and become greater!

I thank God for allowing me to be a part of this group and allowing me to find it. Starting a new ministry and not sure which way to go about it and that prayers would help for sure and any guidance you can give to a new ministry would be appreciated.

What a great forum to express new ideas and receive understanding into the various nuances of being new pastor and/or starting a new ministry! I pray that this forum be a blessing to all who are a part of it.
