Okay. This may be more so an Erwin Scofield special comment than a Divine Dosage, but I pray you would still find some value in what I feel compelled to share. I have just regained my sense of calm over the wonderful news that the 44th President of the United States of America is, for the first time, an African-American. To look into the face of the Rev. Jesse Jackson when the news broke was to look into my face and the faces of many like me who understand that it is okay both to be Christian and to celebrate cultural progress. Erwin,
I Love Obama. He is the Best President we've had since Ronald Regan or John Kennedy. And I didn't vote for him because he is black, or 1/2 white. I would have voted for him if he was Indian or Asian. He is a Charismatic and magnetic Person, the type I can relate to much like people said they could to John Kennedy. He is a person we need to lead us now. he is bringing us together as a nation, regardless of our race.
He reminds me a lot of FDR; a progressive, Centrist-Conservative Democrat to lead us out of a possible coming calamity.
He is a Person who comes from both races, and I think we all can relate to him, and make it a better world and Country.
I would have supported whomever got it, but We Love Barack! I just hope we can turn it around, so he can go down as a Great President. With God's help, we can and will! It will take all of us praying and working together.
I would like to see him for 8 years, then leave, and then come back again!
I understand how you feel... This is a white guy who feels the same way....
