This is a common question and one that is very simple to answer. If a person has a ministry, his ministry will flow out of him and produce the proper fruit. Ministry is evidence, and it just makes a way and a place for itself.

A pear tree does not ask what it is; it just grows pears. There is no doubt about it: It is not a banana tree; its leaves are not the same and its fruit is not the same. People will know what you are by the fruit you produce. As you seek the Lord, pray in the Spirit, and study God's Word, the ministry gift that God has placed in you will surface without your having to force it out.

Quote by Dr. Lester Sumrall

"The ministry fruit in your office, should match the name of your office, if not, wait for it to grow, and everyone else will easily name the fruit of your office and take a bite. It will be a ministry walk and not work!"

I couldnt have said it better; I concur most times you are serving in the office before man gives you the title. in accordance with scripture the gift makes room.
Yes Bishop, I agree. Thank you for adding your thoughts. If we followed this plan, we would not have to spend so much time defending & creating our ministries, and we could be free to use that time tilling the soil of our ministry ground.
Many in the body have titles without one ounce of work to support the title. My bishop always taught us that the we made the title; that meant the work declares who you are. Many want to wear red and reform only to set up a kingdom where they are king or queen. We are called to build a kingdom but its not yours or mine Christ is the king. If we let the work declare us we will build the kingdom and function in our calling without jealusy or fear of the rest of the body. because no matter how gifted I am I dont have them all. I need you.
WOW! We must have had the same Bishop. You are right on the mark with this observation. Ministry ground should be proven ground, and that takes time. I don't want to get anywhere to fast in the Lord, I just want to get there on time. Again, thanks. These words are good fruit to those that really want to fullfill their true office and calling at God's appointed time. I thank God for the training and preparation time, I would not trade it for anything.
I concur Bishop;
