The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." John 10:10

I believe that everyone of us can testify to a moment in our lives when it seemed as though we have experienced a dreadful and deplorable moment. A moment in our lives when there was no "word" from the Lord. We can call this an inter-testamental period. Some of us have or are still engaging in conflicts so extensive that unless God destroys the yoke, we will be forced to live in the mediocrity mold. In viewing the named scripture, there is a contrast between Jesus and Satan, the thief. The thief is the personification of Satan and he has an agenda. His agenda is to present situations to us that will steal, kill and to destroy our ability to become victorious, our ability to walk in destiny, our ability to fulfill our God given purpose. Please know that he will come in. The scripture does not say "if" but it says "when" the enemy comes in like a flood... understand with absolute certainty that hell will break loose. This is not an adjunction, not a hyperbole, not a metaphor - it is a certainty. Continue blessing the kingdom of God, continue giving tithes, seeds, offerings, continue being committed and loyal and you will, with certainty, experience hell's activity. But when all hell does break loose, we have got to make sure that it is not self inflicted. Sometimes we can become our own enemy by making wrong decisions, have the wrong motives, listening to ungodly counsel, and failing to obey/respect leadership. Therefore, I impose the question, are you Satanically induced or self inflicted? Regardless of your answer, there is a way out. Jesus counteracts the thief's agenda and profoundly states..."I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." Remember Jesus and the thief will never exchange characteristics. The demarcation line is set and Jesus has set the center of your life and it will not cross over into demonic territory unless we remove our 'war clothes' and give up the 'ghost'. Regardless to your situation (s), circumstance (s), struggle... you can not draw a circumference. Why? because you are a person of abundance, you are a person of greatness, a person of dominion power. It seems you have been in a place of obscurity but you have reached your pivotal point where God changes everything, your pray has brought you here, your pray has brought you "out," your prayer has brought you through to a place of release...release from the strongholds that are designed to kill, steal, and destroy your vision, your life, your dream, your children, your business, your finances, your community. Through this scripture, God has given you the authority to stand strong in the midst of the enemy. He has given you a "word" of power that you are not going to die in your struggle but you are going to have life and life more abundantly. I encourage you to speak John 10:10 over your situation for the next ten days and just observe the demon chasing, yoke destroying power bruise the head of the enemy. The joke, I mean the yoke (te-he-he) the enemy has placed over your life will become nullified and you will be able to testify through the blood of the Lamb...that God brought you out...right on time!
