The Middle Child...HELP ME

I got a middle child that thinks I favor my oldest child...these feeling are laughable but to huim they are true and my oldest seems to think he is right...OUCH. My middle child is quirky and down right weird...he's into the whole gaming thing and he keeps me laughing. I laugh at the thought that he thinks that he is not a man of color because he keeps company with his other family.

 

Do we favor our first child? I don't have a favorite...my middle child feels like he is lost in the mix.

I am a middle child.  My mother used to do the same for my older sister and younger brother.  I asked her when I got older why did she do that and she said "some children need more than others."  I really did not like this growing up because I needed more and she did not feel I needed it.  I can see how he feel.  Sometimes I think parents don't see that the way children see it.

How are they now? It's obvious from your title that God gifted you...Did you possess that gift as a child? See my oldest is needy and the baby is acutally ver independant like me. I have to stay on top of the oldest and the middle child is needy but more for attention than for anything else. I give them all special time and I am hard on all of them but you make the cases that they all have to be Daddy's Boys !!! Thanks
