RECOGNIZE YOUR DAY AND ITS MESSAGE

THE GODHEAD OF JESUS-CHRIST

Jesus Himself said this: "I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins."

John 8:24

Hi dear visitors!

Here's reply to answers from someone called Eagle(www.ResponseCenters.org).

Date: Mon, 14 Apr 2008 10:57:13 -0500 (CDT)

Kouassi,

First of all, I think your English is quite good.
Why has the Holy Spirit been given to us? Before Jesus returned to heaven, he promised that his believers would not be left as orphans but that he would send another counselor or comforter to be with us. In our own power we cannot acheive a changed and transformed life. The Holy Spirit indwells each Christian. He enlightens our minds when we read the Bible and encourages and strengths us in our daily lives.
Malachi 4 is a prophecy concerning the prophet Elijah who would appear at the time of the coming of the Messiah. Jesus identified John the Baptist as fulfilling this prophecy. John was not the actual Elijah but he came in the spirit or likeness of Elijah. If you study the life of Elijah and John you will notice many similiarities. John was the last prophet of the Old Covenant.
Who is Jesus? The Christian God is a triune God. He is one God but three in person, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus is God the Son. He is the creator of all that we see and he upholds all things by his power. But he now also has a human nature when he was born over 2000 years ago. So today he is both true God and true man. He did this to reconcile us to himself. As humans we have been made in God's image but have fallen into a depraved state. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins by dying for us. Through his righteousness we are forgiven and restored to a personal relationship with God.
I know Jesus not by experiments or feelings but by his promises made to us and revealed to us in the Bible. He changed me by giving me a new heart and mind to seek him and know him. It is by faith not by sight or feelings that we are assured of our relationship with him.
May God bless you also.
Sincerely,
eagle

I thank you for your answer, dear Eagle.

Let us come back to your responses.

1-I know Jesus not by experiments or feelings but by his promises made to us and revealed to us in the Bible. He changed me by giving me a new heart and mind to seek him and know him. It is by faith not by sight or feelings that we are assured of our relationship with him".

This answer is correct!

I know that we are saved by faith and not by works (Ephesians 2: 8-9). When I speak about experiments that you had with Jesus-Christ, I make allusion to Mark 16:16-18.

2- Why has the Holy Spirit been given to us? Before Jesus returned to heaven, he promised that his believers would not be left as orphans but that he would send another counselor or comforter to be with us. In our own power we cannot achieve a changed and transformed life. The Holy Spirit indwells each Christian. He enlightens our minds when we read the Bible and encourages and strengths us in our daily lives.

This answer is correct!

3- Malachi 4 is a prophecy concerning the prophet Elijah who would appear at the time of the coming of the Messiah. Jesus identified John the Baptist as fulfilling this prophecy. John was not the actual Elijah but he came in the spirit or likeness of Elijah. If you study the life of Elijah and John you will notice many similarities. John was the last prophet of the Old Covenant.

This response is not wholly definite.

Compare these two figures:

-First Elijah

Matthew 11:7-10; Malachi 3:1; Esaiah 40:1-5

The mission which is allocated to him, Luke 1:17: "And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous - to make ready a people prepared for the Lord."

Point out that this Elijah came in a time of favour. But he has been rejected by the religious world: "But I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done to him everything they wished, just as it is written about him."

Mark 9: 13

Only those who had revelation received John the Baptist as being the clairvoyant (Prophet) sent by God to prepare the first coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus’ Church is founded on revelation (Matthew 16:17-18). Amen!

Please Let us meditate Amos 3:7 :"Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets."

If the first coming of the Lord Jesus was prepared by a Prophet namely John the Baptist, What will it be of His second visit?

- Second Elijah

Do you Know that the Holy Scriptures say that a Clairvoyant (Prophet) dressed in the Spirit and Elijah's potency must again come before the second coming of Jesus Christ, this big and formidable day (Esaiah 63:4; 13:9; 61:2 / Joel 2:1-3)? Do you know it?

What does the second Elijah owe to do this time? "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse."

Malachi 4: 5 – 6.

There are famous men of God today, making prodigies and miracles, but William Marrion Branham received something special for the Church of Jesus Christ. Do not have prejudices on his Ministry but poll its messages and compare with the Holy Scriptures as the Christians of Berea in Acts 17:11 did.

Consult these sites below and obtain his messages:

www.intmissioncenter.org
www.nouvellenaissance.com
www.inthedaysofthevoice.com
www.livingwordbroadcast.org
www.bibleway.org
www.branham.org
www.biblebelievers.org

Let me inform you therefore that Elijah already came and the religious world treated him as a "Guru". It is not strange, history is repeated. The Clairvoyant (Prophet) of our age is definitely William Marrion Branham.

4- Who is Jesus? The Christian God is a triune God. He is one God but three in person, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus is God the Son. He is the creator of all that we see and he upholds all things by his power. But he now also has a human nature when he was born over 2000 years ago. So today he is both true God and true man. He did this to reconcile us to himself. As humans we have been made in God's image but have fallen into a depraved state. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins by dying for us. Through his righteousness we are forgiven and restored to a personal relationship with God.

This answer is wrong!

The Christian God has never been a triune God. This is the comprehension of the Roman Catholic Church and its daughters, the organized churches. Trinidad is not scriptural. No, I say no! Amen!
You cannot divide the unique God into three coequal and coendless persons.
God is one person who manifested Himself of three ways:
- as the only God and Father of everything who is above all
- as the only God came in a body of flesh to save us
- as the only God in us all by the Holy Ghost.
I do not see three persons but different demonstrations of the same God here.
Ephesians 4: 5-6; 1 Timothy 3:16; Matthew 1:23; John 1: 14; Esaiah 9:5; Esaiah 35:4-6 etc.

The Scripture tells us that God was in Christ When Jesus Christ was here on earth, and in Him dwelled the fullness of the Godhead bodily, all the great powers of God was in His Son, Christ Jesus. For the reconciling the world to Himself. Amen!

Words fail me Brother! If I could express myself correctly, fluently in English as you, I would have motivated you for a long time on this subject of the Godhead of Jesus-Christ.
Nevertheless, I invite you to consult the site below and to order the booklets below which shall be able to help you to deepen your knowledge about the godhead of Jesus.

Let us not compromise the Word of God. Yes, the standard of Holiness is high but it is attainable.
