The question itself gives us an indication that this is a problem. The church shoots its wounded.

You are so true.I know some horror stories from the wounded who wanted help from the church and none was forthcoming.. Why is this happening?

The church has fallen away from its first love as it is written it would do. The scripture says many will depart from the faith. It did not say depart from the church but from the Faith. And this is happening everywhere. The tragedies that are happening every where and will increase now are happening because the church has become a harlot. Where was the church when we could no longer pray in school. How could an atheist name Madlyn O' Hare go before congress to remove pray and the church did not show up with all the power it clams to have. We have been distracted by so many things it's hard to say where to start. Now it's a choice that each of us individualy has to make and that is to get in line so that those who are going to need to find the line will have help. There's always a falling away but when those distractions let us down,most of us remember where we came from. I'm going to make sure that I have my life in order so I can help those who will return to their first love.

Yes the god of Baal Prosperity and recognition has taken us away from Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. The church has based the Kingdom on All of these things instead of seek ye first the Kingdom of God. In the Hebrew thought Kingdom of God and His righteousness refers to seeking the Character of God. Another scriptures says In all thy ways (thoughts and actions) acknowledge Him. Acknowledge means in the Hebraic thought to act on His Knowledge. So because we seek the wrong things first when a brother or sister needs help or restoration they get things like I am busy. I missed your call because they have caller ID. They sit back and watch the devil destroy folks and then like Job friends say you must have done something wrong. Well if they did do something wrong lead them into repentance and restoration. So God is now angry with the Church because selfishness is ruling in the church. Jesus is standing at the door of His own church knocking in the book of Revelation saying "If any man shall hear my voice and open up I will come in and sup with Him".

I strongly pray and hope that the answers or responses to this question are really taken to heart.

I don't believe that The Church has gotten away from its' primary purpose, I believe, the delivery and transfer of that purpose have been the problem.

The one who now carries the baton has the responsiblilty to pass that baton securely and successfully into the hearts and minds of all those who have an ear to hear.

We must deliver a clear understanding of what that purpose is. Then support and equip those to whom we have delivered the message to.

Teaching them to trust in the Lord and all His Might; not man. Trust that God is still in charge and allow The Lord Jesus to move in the lives of men and women by admonishing them to study the Word of God for themselves.

Making ouselves and our staff ready and available to listen/answer/contend/debate as a show of our trust in the Lord and ability to rightly divide the word of truth.

I am sure people would like to see how much you love first but they are also interested in how much you know, both mentally and intimately about what it is we preach and teach.

The purpose is clear our objective is sure and our end is glorious.
