What is life without a friend?
One in whom you can depend.
Movies, plays and church
They will even be there
To help you work.
Friends near or far
You can always count on them
No matter were they are.
Whether you are sick or just down
A friend will be there to care for you
And remove your frown.
When you are going through
The storms of life,
A friend will stand with you
Through the strife.
A true friend is a friend
That loveth at all times
Like a rare jewel,
They are truly hard to find.
So, if you are blessed to have one
This you need to know
Hold on to them tightly
They are a treasure and priceless
So never let them go.
