Bless you Prophet David, I believe God gives us the choice because love is gentle and kind, it is entreating. You cannot serve anyone that you don't love. God wants us to have an intimate relationship with the God of our creation. What is required of us in this life challenges love on every side and it is the foundation of our love relationship with God that we are able to live victorious lives. This is the choice we have. If we choose to serve base things, base relationships and empty promises we will live empty lives - but if we choose God who is all things full and complete our lives will be full and complete... the power of God's love for us is in our choice.

Brother David I think is it clear from Genesis creation that God wanted us to love Him unconditionally and totally. To choose Him above all things. He could have created us other wise but what would that profit to have a creation of people that had to love Him without the choice of their own. That's not fulfilling if you ask me. Peace and Love.
