The word of God declares in Proverbs that "He that findeth a wife findeth a good thing", Why does it seem like it is being overlooked when a man pursuits a woman and if it doesn't work out the way it was intended to, the woman still has to wait on the Lord and it seems like men are allowed to go to this one and that one? Not questioning integrity or character. Proper judgment from the start should always be in effect. I am not biased nor am I looking from a natural standpoint. I just feel like when a single man of God is searching out "the right one", it is almost like a trial and error instead of waiting on the Lord and hearing exactly who the Lord directs them to. I may be wrong :)

Yet the woman would be seen as out of order if the shoe was on the other foot under the assumption she is blaspheming the word and out of order. Is that right>??
I am blessed to read what you wrote. There are so many men that are in God that are misleading the women of God because they have that liberty to do that whether they are right or wrong. Truly it seems like a trial and error type of relationship for men but what happens when the woman falls for the person who has captured their heart and then are let go because he does not feel it is the right one. We are praying as well to have the right one too. God, please hear my prayer about this situation too. We need to know for sure if that is the person as well. People have a tendency to look down on a woman and say she is not suppose to run after the man and I do understand that as well. There some that wrote a book for woman that he said God told him to write and he said that woman do have that option to look for what God has in store for them as well. I will let you know the title tomorrow. I do not have it w/me right now. Sis, be blessed.
Prophetess thank you for that comment because I have pondered, and pondered, and questioned, and wanted to know why? But God is a sustainer and I pray that the Lord will help me personally to understand why this is so in many situations. I pray that the Lord guard the hearts of women who are seeking and waiting on the Lord that God will direct us in all instances from heartache, disappointment, frustration, and everything that the enemy would try to use to sabotage the greatness He has destined for His women. Pray for me and I will do the same for you!. God bless you
Thats why Im a fan of charater. lol. Women overlook the red flags from the start. Yes its sad to see guys in church playin good women . women too lol . I have grown past those inmature stages. It dont take me no week to find you out. We that are mature and spend time in God"s presence can tell in about 15 minutes. im serious. When I meet you I can tell if the woman is good or fake. The spirit of God in us will let you know
Amen Brother Rock,! People think i am crazy when i say that i can tell within the first 15 minutes whether or not you are the one for me! The spirit of the Lord will give you that discernment!
I also think that if we women would stop thinking " oh, Lord, bless me with a husband, i am soooo lonely!", and ask God "Lord, make me a vessel, worthy of Your best for me!", we will be able to see more clearly what God has for us!
Be blessed!
Cookie, I love your coment "Lord, make me a vessel, worthy of Your best for me!". I minister to singles a lot I am going to remember that. Thanks for the friend invite.

Blessings,
Darla
You very welcome Sis, use it! I also joined your group. I am the secretary of our singles ministry and we are always looking for good resources. God bless!
Brother Rock, Yes you are so right: women do overlook or purposely disregard the red flags. Some feel so desperate for a mate they don't want to see any red flags because he shows interest that seems to be enough. I am a woman, single for 5 years, I've been there. During a time of adjustment from a (long term) marriage to single life is a very vulnerable time. However, once we move past that we should no longer be ignoring red flags. I refuse to forfeit my destiny by marrying the wrong man no matter how gorgeous, sweet and loving he is to me. What about the times he will watch something on television that is offensive to my spirit...etc.

If we stay sober and spiritual we will know by the Spirit if they are the one for us. 15 Minutes? Absolutely! Those who are spiritual (who have developed good spiritual habits) will know more than those who don't.

I don't concern myself too much with the way a man does it or the way a women should or should not, regarding who is to do the searching or approaching. I just keep walking, loving on God, and I stay alert. I know when there is a single man in the room, I am alert! Should I go talk to him? Should I give him the eye? I don't get caught up in that either. The key is to follow the Spirit.

If I feel the Spirit nudging me, I will approach him, however that does not mean he is my husband. If the Spirit is not nudging me, I may still approach him as a sister in Christ. Bottom line: God has many sons and He has one reserved just for me. Knowing this, I am never disappointed to see when gentlemen isn't the one.

Yes, character does get my attention, I then am led by the Spirit on my approach or response.

If God’s people would fall in love from the inside out, there would be no divorces in the Body of Christ.

Be blessed
Darla
The Lord has brought me to a contentment of just learning to be completely satisfied with Him. I believe that being faithful to the Lord and keeping my heart, eyes, spirit, and soul single on the Lord is so vital that you will not get caught up in being distracted on the cares of this life rather laser sharp focus on the kingdom! Now, in the Lord's timing if He wills, then so be it but it will just be in addition to the work in motion already. Speaking for myself, I am praying for the mindset of if He never sends me someone>>He has done and been more than enough for me!!! Now, my heart is Lord make me completely faithful to you in all that I do and kill my desires giving me Yours...Continue to fertilize my heart to keep me focused on you that my humanistic being doesn't get off track looking to have my flesh pacified in anyway. I agree with many points each have stated! I thank the Lord for His wisdom and understanding of His creations in that He can meet me at my point of need through both verbal and non verbal communication! I pray that the people of God keep a passion and heart for His people and not get sidetracked with the cares of this life. The hour is critical and we have to stay on one accord with the spirit of the Lord and stay in tune with the frequency of the spirit to know the move taking place in the now.

Kingdom blessings in Jesus name....He is looking for a wife!!!

To comment on your word @ Ambass. for Christ. I recieved a word from God threw the man of God and said . " You dont have time for Trail Runs" to answer your questions. God will send you him or her. You dont have to go threw an army to find the right one lol. bless you sister. God is too big. He can send you him or her
Amen! I think right know, well I know, the Lord is causing the people, mainly who are single, really to be focused on Seeking His face like never before in the season. I am killing what I want and allowing the Lord's perfect will to be done! Now, He said He would give us the desires of our heart. That is His word, but my thing is I don't want to be so consumed with the cares of this life that I lose focus on my whole reason for being born>>>SOULS to be reconcilled back unto the Father. Staying on my face in prayer, living holy!!! (not having side conversation on the phone tryin be slick "holy" lolol) But true sanctification, Holiness. Anyhow, I couldn't agree with you more. Our focus has to be on the King and His agenda in the hour. It is too critical to focus on anything less than that. He has the rest mapped out. Love you fervently in the Lord brother and God bless you!
