The joy and peace of the Lord to you...I pray your Sabbath on yesterday was a day filled with Gods wonderful peace and His rest.

And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath for given you. Ephesians 4:32

This morning let us continue to be aware of the importance of forgiveness. Forgiving is so very important, not for the other person that may have offended you, or hurt you, it is so vitally important for you. We all desire that the Father forgive us, and we know, in order for Him to forgive us, we must first forgive.

If we look closely at forgiveness, we can surely see that when we don't forgive it is part of our flesh being stubborn and saying, no, I don't want to do that. Well, when you don't really desire to forgive, your flesh rises and you simply will not do it, you have yet to die to self. You have yet to reach a point of walking completely in the Spirit.

We are all guilty of holding on to pain and hurt and continuing to condemn those that caused the pain and hurt. I know I personally, I had many, many years of struggling with this. In the process of learning to forgive, there was bitterness, anger, frustration...and these awful characteristics affected not only me, but all those that were around me.

I cussed, I yelled, I would argue, I would snap at anything and everyone around me. It all stemmed from what someone else had done to me. How I allowed their words or actions to offend me. In Psalm 119:165 it reads:

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

If you could know the peace that I have come to learn. If you yourself experience the peace of God which passes, all understanding then you have come to know something many people have not experienced, and many have gone to their graves not experiencing...If you want to experience it, you shouldn't waste another second having unforgiveness in your heart.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus...Philippians 4:7

Yes it is of the utmost of importance to forgive others, but while you're on the kick of forgiving them, guess what...YOU HAVE TO FORGIVE YOU!!!

May the Blessings of the Lord be upon you. May you take the step today, at this very moment....to FORGIVE...Once you forgive, your heart will begin to mend...the hurt, the pain...will be dismissed and it will be filled with Gods LOVE...God Bless you...I love you..
