TRUTH
Mt. 13:51-52
Jn. 21:3-13
Gods Word is like the ocean where fishermen go to catch the prize fish. Most fishermen will tell you they have their favorite spots where in the past they have had the best results. We all like fisherman have our favorite places in Gods Word and like the fisherman we set sail to those places and anchor receiving a catch of Gods TRUTH. Peter an experienced fisherman and as you well know with a love and passion for Jesus often acted, said, and did, until Jesus love showed the way in which to work and act with God.
God’s Word is like the ocean in that when you leave shore you immediately sense a vastness and depth you don’t have on land. You realize that it is you, the boat, and your skill in finding your fishing spot. (You’re Bible, your time, and God.) God wants us all to push out further into the deep to experience Him to the full, and receive more than just what we would have found in the shallows. It is in the deep that the greatest catches happen far from land. We with our limited minds think we know where the best places to receive are. We only need to let Gods Spirit guide us, and let Jesus tells us how we can catch the biggest draft of fish yet.
What we often receive is not only for ourselves and as Jesus had a fire and in fellowship with Peter after the catch we to have to give God time to talk about your revelations in TRUTH that you’ve received from a great and good God. Apart from the deep catch will only produce a shallow relationship with a loving Lord. Deep is calling to deep let God be God in your heart and push beyond what you have ever thought of in a personal study, remember just one on one, you with your creator.
