Why is the Torah and the Mitzvah (Law) Important?

As many of you know that I just lost my Mother In-Law to breast Cancer and I just got out of the Hospital. What where the contributing factors for both of us? How could we resolved our health issues?

As I look back at each of these incidents I see a feww things that could have changed the out comes for these health issues.

In Scripture we see that sin is directly connected to illness. Remove the sin then the illness will resolve as well in most cases, because we know that there are consequences for sin as well.

For us I believe the sooner we get back to the Torah (Instructions) and the Mitzvah ( Commands or Law) Then the less we will have to reap later on. For we must understand that what you sow you will reap. What you sowed and more than you sowed. It is a kingdom principle.

I want to look at both my situation and my mother in -law's situation.

I will deal with mine first.
Because for so long I forsook the Torah and the Mitzvah that I lived how I wanted and eat how I wanted to eat because I was taught growing up in church that the law did not apply to us as new testament believers. That is not so. It does. Because I sowed disobedience I reaped the consequences of that same disobedience. Even thou I made changes in my life and in my eating habits. I began to excises and I still ended up reaping for my disobedience.

I still had to suffer for my disobedience even thou YHWH had forgiven me of my sin. Now that I am walking in obedience unto his Torah, the lessons that I had to learn I now share with you that you may do what is pleasing unto YHWH.

Who knows better that we need than the one who made us? YHWH created everything and that which is for us he gave to us to help us to live and not die. Man comes alongs and tells us that we can eat what we want and do what we want. We fall for the oaky doke. Now we must suffer for our sin.

If we would just repent and get to the truth of the matter then we would know the truth and the truth would make us free. I called on his name and I turned from my wicked ways and sought his face and he heard my cry he forgive my sin and he is healing my land.

I am continuing to eat right and I am looking forward to getting back into the gym as soon as my as my stomach heals.

The Torah is a set of instructions to teach us who to live and how to please YHWH. The Mitzvah is Commands that keeps us in line with his Tsawdeka (Righteousness). It is what we will be judged by. Now if this is done away with then there is nothing in which we can be judged by.

The Torah is important for those who want to please YHWH. It is his word and his word will never fail.

Secondly I want to deal with my mother in-law. She could have lived but she refused to change the way she lived. She refused to receive set apart counseling which may have helped her live. She refused to do what the Nabi (Prophet) was instructed by YHWH to do in order to receive her healing. She rejected knowledge that would have possibly caused her to live.

Because of where she worked, because of how she eat and because she refused to do it YHWH's way, she died young. It is important to eat according to scripture. It is important to live how he instructs us.

Dear Brother, I'm so glad to hear from you! I'm the prophet from Mexico City. I sent you a couplke of e-mails when you were at the hospital. I also pryaed for your mother-in-law. You are so right about the Torah and her commandments. Since I was a former student for the Catholic Priesthood, and therefore, an idol worshiper, I've "paid" for my sins. Recently I've been sick too! I have been feeling much better now. I changed my diet to a semi-vegetarian diet, and I'm starting to feel better. Well, "teshuváh" (repentence) is what Yahweh wants from us I'm sorry about your mother passding away. Some of our relatives don't want to repent, like my sister and my father who also wnet to eternity without repentence. Now that we ephraimites are learning Torah, well, we better keep Yahweh's commandments, especially us leaders. I'll keep praying for you, and hope your health is better by now. Shalom, Navíh Alex Acosta
