Submission or Oppression

I find that most christian people in authority and under authority do not understand the difference between submission and oppression. Many have abused and misused the Word of God along this line.

Submission - is the act of voluntarily yielding or surrendering oneself to the will or authority of another.

Oppression - is the act of manipulating or forcing someone to yield or surrender to the will or authority of another.
