Cry Out To Jesus - Third Day (2005) To everyone who's lost someone they love
long before it was their time.
You feel like the days you had were not enough
when you said goodbye.
And to all of the people with burdens and pains
keepin' you back from your life.
You believe that there's nothing
and there is no one who can make it right.
There is hope for the helpless, rest for the weary,
and love for the broken hearts.
There is grace and forgiveness, mercy and healing
He'll meet you wherever you are.
Cry out to Jesus. Cry out to Jesus.
For the marriage that's struggling just to hang on
They lost all of their faith in love.
and they've done all they can to make it right again
still it's not enough.
For the ones who can't break the addictions and chains
you try to give up but you come back again.
Just remember that you're not alone
in your shame and your suffering.
There is hope for the helpless, rest for the weary,
and love for the broken hearts.
There is grace and forgiveness, mercy and healing
He'll meet you wherever you are.
Cry out to Jesus.
When you're lonely and it feels like the whole world is falling on you
you just reach out, you just cry out to Jesus
Cry to Jesus.
To the widow who suffers from being alone,
wipin' the tears from her eyes.
For the children around the world without a home,
say a prayer tonight.
There is hope for the helpless, rest for the weary,
and love for the broken hearts.
There is grace and forgiveness, mercy and healing
that meets you wherever you are.
There is hope for the helpless, rest for the weary,
and love for the broken hearts.
There is grace and forgiveness, mercy and healing
that meets you wherever you are.
Cry out to Jesus. Cry out to Jesus.
Cry out to Jesus. Cry out to Jesus.

OH THAT GOD HAS TOUCHED MY LIFE
HE HAS HEALED ME INSPITE OF ALL THE STRIFE
I KNOW THAT HE IS THE REASON FOR MY SUCCESS
HE HAS SHOWN HIS LOVE AND GIVEN ME THE BEST
I SAY TO ALL WHO SEEK HIS FACE
REACHING FOR JESUS, IS THE SAFEST PLACE
WHEN YOU OR IN TROUBLE AND FILLED WITH DOUBT
LOOK TO JESUS TO FIND YOUR COMPLETE WAY OUT
HE WILL GIVE YOU ALL THAT YOU COULD EVER NEED
JUST CALL ON THE MASTER AND THROUGH LIFE YOU WILL SUCCEED.............................................................
ALL THAT YOU ARE AND EVER WILL BE
JUST LOOK TO HIM AND HE WILL CAUSE SATAN TO FLEE
TO JESUS AND YOU WILL

Late night talks

When the house is still
And silence falls
I look forward to the late night talks
With you , my friend and my guide
The one that fills my soul
And speaks directly to my heart
In our late night talks
Ican bodly come to you
About my troubles and my worries
About trust being broken
Knowing that you won't judge me
Ridicule me or put me down
In our late night talks
I can confess my wrongdoings
I can tell you my deepest desires
Ican let it all go and tell you how much I am hurting
During these late night talks
I thank you for being a true friend
Thank you for building my walk
Thank you for giving me power in my talk
Most of all, thank you Lord for hearing me
In our late night talks !

Just come
He doesn't care what you have done
Or how bad it is
He wants to forgive you
Oh what a gift it is !
He doesn't care whether you are
Rich or poor
He wants it all
He doesnt care if you live in a mansion
Or the ghetto
Whether you are well to do
Or a welfare mom
Jesus said "Just come "
Give me your problems
Give me all of your burdens
Your heartaches and pain
You can begin again
Just come !

Today is the day…

Today is the day that I believe
That God has chosen you to encourage me
Today is the day that I have been impressed
To forgive friends and foes alike for misdeeds
They have penned
Today is the day from fantasy imagery, I will
Release and be set free to see
A portrait of how God, my Creator, truly sees me
Today is the day that I shall move beyond
Myself and allow the Spirit of God that’s
Within me to speak free
Today is the day I shall make the clarion call
To move beyond self-doubts
While stepping onto the pathway
Of fore-planned destiny
Today is the day I choose to say, “I love you”
For I know not the hour His plan will manifest
Whereby you and I may be chosen from this
Side of heaven to transcend
Today is the day for us to receive the new mercies
He has given His children—both you and me.

My Prayer

Baptize me in your love

Let salvation’s waters cleanse me

Baptize me in your grace

Let righteousness flames consume me

Repent of the heart

Lord come and be a part

my life, I humbly submit to you

Your will for my life I’d gladly do

Touch my soul

That I may be whole

For daily myself I deny

For you I make the sacrifice

Jesus, to pay the ransom for me, to the cross you went

and all you ask in return is that I repent

Let holiness be my lifestyle

As I shun worldly pleasures, for something worthwhile

My faith looks up to thee

For you loved me enough to hang from the tree

Saved now I am, and saved I shall be

Sealed until the day of redemption, for the Son has made me free

Supplier of my needs, even the desires of my heart

Why didn’t I accept you from the very start?

Yet now I realize your kingdom is sure to come

And I ask Lord let your will for my life be done.

I walk in life anew

Sharing the Love of God with the many and the few

Boldness now occupies, where fear once reigned

Purity now abounds, and that sinful nature is now constrained

For what I must suffer, is meaningless considering my reward

The promises of God are sure, that’s what I’m working towards

Use me Lord in thy service, let me be an encouragement to all

Hear my prayer oh God, as your humble servant calls.

From Destined Destruction to Divine Destiny

Once destined to an eternal hell
Born in sin
Doomed for eternity
Because of transgression
In the Garden
Yet Love shined on me
Dispatched Mercy and Grace
To lift me
Out of the pit of sin and shame
On a rugged cross
On a hill called Calvary
Love
Showed his
Love
Died that I may be free
And changed my destiny
No longer
Doomed for all eternity
But now
A right to the tree of life
This is the real reason
The Lighthouse shines
That others
May know the one true Love
The Love that the Father
Commended towards us
In that while we were yet sinners
Christ died for us
No longer hell bound
I'm going to a land
Where the wicked
Shall cease from troubling
And the weary shall be at rest
I'm going to a place where
I can walk on streets paved with gold
And where I can sit at my Savior's feet and be blessed
Love shaped my destiny
Love molded my destiny
Love redirected my destiny
Love changed my destiny
That I may exemplify
His Love
And give his Love away to others
Peace be unto you

THIS WORLD……
By Tarmeque L. Hawkins © 2007

What has this world come to? I really don’t understand.
How people act like it’s okay, to mistreat their fellow man
True, times have changed. True, life is sometimes hard.
But it wouldn’t be this way, if we still trusted in GOD

What happened to worship? What happened to praise?
What happened to giving GOD the glory, and thanking him for your days?
Why did we remove prayer from school? Why were metal detectors put in?
Why do we allow our children to continue living in sin?

“Train a child in the way it should go.” That’s what MY Bible says.
“When it grows old it will not depart.” He or she will praise the Lord instead!
Children today have no respect. The fault or blame is not their own.
They do what they see and learn. Charity begins at home.

If children don’t see you show love and compassion, tell me, how can they?
If you never fall to your knees and say a prayer, why do you expect THEM to pray?
If you don’t want them to use profanity, why do you curse in front of them?
If you don’t give GOD any of your time, why expect THEM to worship him.

This is not to say that children ARE the problem with the world.
This is to say parents need to be accountable for their boys and girls.
If you sincerely want them to do right, you must practice what you preach.
Spend TIME with your own children and stop letting TV and the babysitter teach.

We blame the media, music and peer pressure, for all our kids’ negative actions.
When the fact of the matter is: Our parenting skills are TERRIBLY lacking.
We were taught better, we know better, yet on others we place the blame.
Instead of being responsible and raising our kids, we treat them like they’re a pain.

These children we shake our heads at, and cross the street to avoid,
Are the same children who ARE the future, now, think about it real HARD.
Ten years from now, having had no direction & upbringing, where will the world be?
I’m afraid when I imagine the possibilities, afraid enough for both you and me.
