Thank you for your comment. This is true. The Great Commission does not tell us to make converts but disciples.

One of our needs for correction has to deal with the fact that we make converts to Jesus and disciples of ourselves.

Being a BE disciples ourselves and then pointing people to be disciples of HIM! This is the true purpose of the "five-fold" ministry. The ministry working together, to make disciples of Jesus.
