As a licensed minister (St. John Missionary Baptist Church), I love to preach and teach the Word of God and to bring counsel to the wounded. I am currently in the process of relocating my membership to Love Center Missionary Baptist Church to join Dr. Wood's ministry team. I am a community activist involved with many civil rights organizations and non-profit organizations helping to educate to empower the people. I am licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and am President/Owner of Crayton Law Offices and Crayton Communications and Ghost Writing Services ( a communications and literary service company). In addition, I am a consultant for businesses in the area of leadership, communications, and management. Other interests include being one of the publicists for the jazz saxophonist and recording artist "Hulon" and being a philanthropist (along with my physician-husband, Hulon) in areas of community arts, entertainment, and education. My hobbies include writing, reading, tae kwon do, bowling, and golf (occasionally-just a beginner). My favorite music is gospel, jazz, and some R & B. Family: I am married and have three children (all over the age of 20-my time surely does fly). I served in the United States Army and attained the rank of Captain before being honorably discharged to pursue the field of law. I am available as a speaker on issues pertaining to leadership, communication, management training, and building strong non-profit organizations. Other topics of interest that I have presented include: Trends in the Law, Domestic Violence, Building Strong Families,The School-to-Prison Pipeline, and The Disparate Impact of Zero Tolerance Policies.
