Elder (Apostle) Harry L. Jackson was born in Rochester, NY, on July 2, 1962, and served in the United States Army from 1981-1989. After leaving the Army, he resided in Germany for 11 years, and accepted Jesus Christ in November 1991 in the Germany Jurisdiction of the Churches of God in Christ, under the late Bishop Carlis L. Moody, Sr. until 1999. He initially served first as an Usher, and then in Audio Ministry, Sound Reinforcement, Evangelism, Planning and Steering, in his local, district and Jurisdictional Music Departments, as a choir member (CH Mason Mass Choir), psalmist, worship leader, and musician, provided computer support, and helped to establish a ministry in a refugee camp in Germany. On March 5, 1995, he answered the call of God to preach the Gospel, and received his Ministerial License at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in October 1999, upon his return to the United States. He was ordained as an Elder under Bishop Gerald D. Phipps at New Destiny Baptist Church in February 2005. He, along with his wife, Pastor Cheryl L. Jackson, founded Christ Foundation Ministries, Inc. in 2007, and were installed as its pastors by Bishop Charles L. Chealey, Sr. of Leading The Way Ministries, Inc. CFCM now exists as a mobile ministry team, and has served in various apostolic assignments in churches throughout the city. From 2010-2012, Elder Jackson served as Professor of Homiletics at United Christian Ministry Institute (Now First Zion Bible College) Rochester, New York Campus, and he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Christian Ministry in 2010 for his work there. After serving three years under the oversight of Global Dominion International Network and its overseer, Apostle Bernetha Mouzon, he was commissioned and affirmed as an Apostle on September 16, 2012. Apostle Jackson provides assistance and apostolic oversight to CFCM’s sister ministry in Africa, Christ Foundation Church in Monrovia, Liberia. He is also involved with Project Spirit Ministries, a Rochester-based ministry whose goal is to call men and women back to their places of responsibility in the home, church and community. Since 2018, he has been active in the local worship music community, performing with the worship collectives and worship teams throughout the city. He currently serves on the worship team at Trinity Communion Church in Rochester, NY. Apostle Jackson holds degrees in Christian Ministry, Business Administration, Computer Programming, and Web Design, and will continue his educational pursuits as time allows.

If we are Christian, we need to stop looking like the Great Harlot (of Babylon in Revelation).
