Bishop Dr. Gwendolyn T. Hope is a native of Albany, Georgia. She is a mother, sister, and a spiritual mother to many sons and daughters in Christ. She has six children and four grandchildren. Dr.Hope accepted her call into the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ 28 years ago. At the tender age of nineteen she delivered her first sermon. Before stepping into pastoralship, she served under the leadership of Apostles George and Annie W. Wingfield for 25 years. She was licensed and ordained as a Pastor and Prophet under Faith and Prayer Church, Inc, where Apostles George & Annie W. Wingfield served as pastor.

In December of 2000, Founder Wingfield passed the mantle on to Dr. Hope to lead the ministry into what God had predestined it to be. Since Dr. Hope's calling to this ministry she has achieved numerous accomplishments. Faith and Prayer has increased in number and implemented a new structure. The new structure consists of more classroom space and administrative areas, such as training sessions in all areas of the ministry for Kingdom Business. Dr. Hope's ministry has reached the community through radio & T.V. broadcast, “Real Talk.” Several people have been touched by the message that they heard and have become covenant partners with the vision. She has shared the stage with Bishop George Bloomer by way of Bishop Carolyn Nails of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Bishop Murphy J. Pace of Atlanta, Georgia and many more. Through her prayers and seeking God's face, T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) Community Outreach Ministry was birthed. The outreach ministry is a collaboration between businesses and churches locally and in the surrounding counties and states, coming together to feed, cloth, educate, and inform our community on healthcare awareness, job opportunities and higher learning institutions. The goal is to build a progressive and proficient community. The Community Outreach has adopted local youth projects such as the Darton College Prep Program, which assists with abstinence, education, and self esteem.

Dr. Hope believes that God is strategically connecting people in the spirit and that we are to be helpers one to another. In 2005, God charged Dr. Hope to form a fellowship entitled Divine Connection. The purpose of this fellowship is to connect and unite different ministries around the world to destroy strongholds in this area and abroad and to strengthen the Body of Christ. Currently, Divine Connection has over 50 ministries worldwide. She has spearheaded and taught many workshops and seminars on Marriage, Leadership, Daughters of Zion, and Stress and Anger Management. She serves as a guest speaker and a motivational speaker for civic organizations and churches all over the world. Dr. Hope has received her doctorate degree in Theology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Hope ministers a word of healing, restoration, and deliverance to God's people. Signs and wonders has manifested through this dynamic Woman of God with the evidence of the dead being raised, the lame walking, and the sick being healed from cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and strokes. Her life is used as a testimony to the faithfulness and the love that God has for His children.
