He attended Calvary Apostolic Church serving under the leadership of Bishop Samuel E. Snow. In 1985 he received the Holy Ghost, and was chosen by God for the ministry in 1989 when he truly made a flame of fire with an anointed passion for prayer. God elected and elevated Apostle Armstrong to Pastor Light house of God Tabernacle of Fire in 1991 and in the late 1990's the Almighty changed the ministry to House of Prayer Tabernacle of Fire. In 2002, God elevated Pastor Armstrong to the office of Apostle, and enlarged the territory of Apostle's ministry by calling him to Salisbury Maryland to bring healing and restoration to the people through the ministry of House of Prayer Catherdral of Fire. Apostle Armstrong is currently the Senior Pastor and Presiding Prelate of House Of Prayer Cathedral of Fire Worldwide located in Wilmington , DE.
