The President and Founder of NJ Entertainment, LLC, is Ms. Johnson a highly motivated entrepreneur with over 11 years experience in entertainment marketing, promotion, production and distribution business. This visionary wants to change the way we look at TV and film. In this newly created position, she will focus on ways in which to create new, diverse, multicultural films and television programs for a Christian targeted audience. In this capacity she will spearhead a team of dynamic broadcast and production professionals. She began her career as an intern in the music industry where she worked for music companies such as Uptown Entertainment Co., Atlantic Records and Elektra Records. ““Puffy” Sean Combs, Andre’ Harrell, Heavy D., Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Lost Boyz, Horace Brown, Soul-4-Real, Keith Sweat, MC Lyte and Adina Howard” are just a few of the artists she helped to promote in 1994-1998. Nicole later became the Writer/Producer to an entertainment show called “Home Bass Video Magazine,” that featured celebrity profiles and behind the scene look into the lives of the rich and famous, which aired on a variety of cable systems throughout the country. Stories she covered were on: film producer “Spike Lee,” “New York Undercover’s Malik Yoba and Michael DeLorenzo.” “NBA’s, New York Knick’s Patrick Ewing, John Starks, Latrell Sprewell, Chris Childs, Anthony Mason, Seattle Super Sonics, Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton and Boston Celtics, Dana Barros,” musical artist included “R. Kelly, MC Hammer, Changing Faces, Onyx, Raz Kas, KRS-1, Brandy, Ray J, Dionne Warwick, and Bobby Brown.” She was responsible for strategic planning and content development. She oversaw a staff of 15 media specialists.
Nicole has worked in front of the camera and has also worked extensively behind the camera in production. She has written, produced and reported for Manhattan Neighborhood Network (MNN) Channel 57. Her work has aired on MTV and the MSG Metro Channels, and numerous local radio stations around New York City.
Nicole is currently helping to promote the "Celebration of Praise Concert" – Three hours of nonstop inspiration and praise music. This spirit filled event brings top gospel artist to the newly renovated Atlanta Civic Center located downtown Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday, September 11, 2009, starting at 7:30 p.m. The line up features Grammy winner diva Yolanda Adams alongside the very reputable Bishop Paul S. Morton of Greater St. Stephen’s Baptist Church, veteran gospel vocalist Dottie Peoples and R&B star turned gospel artist Regina Belle. “Elder Jimmy Robinson” will host this spectacular show and his New Mercies Praise Team of New Mercies Christian Church will make an appearance. Also featuring renowned Pastor Donald Battle of Divine Faith Ministries International and his Praise Team and new Gospel sensation Tamiko Samples will be making her debut.
