Syvoskia was listed in the inaugural edition of Who's Who in Black Louisville. She had graduated from Focus Louisville, community leadership, Leadership and Training Institute, Professional Development, St. Stephen Women Leadership.

Syvoskia is also pursuing her Masters in Ministerial Leadership at Indiana Wesleyan University.
