- January 12, 1976, marked the beginning of a life full of purpose, designed and planned by God himself for Prophetess Kimberly Baker. Jeremiah 1:5 says, "Before I formed thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Born to Deacon David and Mary McPhatter, the middle child of three, Prophetess Baker grew up in the church but strayed into a life full of deep depression with suicidal thoughts and attempts to end her life that were not successful, drugs and alcohol. Not knowing that God had plans for her all along, she gave her life to Christ in 1999 alongside of then boyfriend, who is now her husband, Pastor Jay Baker. Seeking and going after God with her whole heart, and yielding to the holy spirit, Prophetess Baker accepted her calling into the ministry as an evangelist in 2001 and later in 2004 the birthing of the prophetic began. Anointed and appointed by God in this season as an evangelist and prophet, Kimberly holds also the position of a mother to two children: Jamaria and Jaleal. She has been blessed to achieve her associates degree in Criminal Justice, and is currently pursuing her associates in Cosmetology. Having the dreams of owning her own beauty salon and to be of help to others, Prophetess is also a grant consultant. Founder of Who Am I ministries, which God birthed into her, Prophetess Baker is striving to help others become who they are in the spirit as well as in the natural. Through seminars, workshops and services, she looks to help build up self-esteem and confidence in others who are at a lost within themselves. With guidance from God she is determined to do the work with the best of her ability!
