Apostle S. Louis Johnson, a native of Trinity, Mississippi, received his call to the ministry in 1978. During his more than 30 years of ministry, Apostle Johnson has successfully served in many ministerial capacities such as: Sunday School Teacher, Worship Leader, Bible Study Teacher and as President of the Youth for Christ organization at Mississippi Valley State University, in Itta Bena, Mississippi.
He has also served as a musician in the church. Apostle Johnson is the Former Pastor of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Crawford, Mississippi where he served in that position for 12 years. He has also served as Assistant Pastor of Plum Grove Church of God in Christ in Columbus, Mississippi for 8 years.

Apostle Johnson has experienced many successes over his lifetime. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Mississippi Valley State University and he received his Ministerial Ordination from the Northern Mississippi Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ in Clarksdale, Mississippi.
Indeed, he is a Holy Spirit filled Christian witness actively operating in the office of the five fold ministry, fulfilling the call of God on His life.
