- Apostle Charles C. Jones formal Christian upbringing began at the Greater St. Lukes Baptist Church in Racine,Wi under his first Pastor the late Reverend E.E. Woods after joining with the holiness church Apostle gave his life to the Lord on April 1,1982 that same year he accepted the call into the ministry at the tender age of 15 years old.As a result of his conversion the Lord has used him to reach not only his family with the Gospel of Jesus Christ but countless lives of others through out this nation and the world many lives have been touched as a result of his commitment and dedication to serve Gods people. Since 1982 to the present, the Lord has elevated him from a zealous Jr. Deacon from a Jr. Deacon to a studious Minister from a Minister to a captivating Elder from a Elder to a faithful Assistant Pastor from an Assistant Pastor to a Protective Shepherd from a Shepherd to His Eminence, Your Grace, Bishop Charles C. Jones. Apostle had the privilege to sit and serve under the leadership of the late Pastor Albert Tenzy. Founder of the Morning Star Tabernacle COGIC in Racine,Wisconsin and the late Pastor David W. Jackson founder of the Mt. Calvary COGIC in Racine,Wisconsin. In 1991 he was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ at Williams Temple C.O.G.I.C. by Bishop J.C. Williams. Prelate of the 3rd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ, Inc. Wisconsin. In 1996 after the passing of his Pastor. Apostle Jones was chosen to Pastor Mt. Calvary COGIC. In the year 2000. Apostle Jones pulled out of the COGIC. That same year he established and founded Shekinah Glory Ministries International, Inc now named Shekinah Glory Family Worship Center,Inc which is a ministry with a local as well as a worldwide perspective that has been raised up to bring people out of tradition and religiosity to a walk of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through our community outreach efforts we have fed the poor , clothed the naked, visited the sick and are witnessing to the lost.On April 3 2004 Apostle Jones was Consecrated to the sacred office of Bishop in the Lord's Church by Arch Bishop Juan M Kennedy Ph. D;D.D Presiding Prelate of the Immanuel Ministries Fellowship International,Inc (Milwaukee,Wi); Bishop Warren G.Kirkendoll 1st Presiding Prelate of Immanuel Ministries Fellowship International,Inc.;Bishop Jacob Agepoge Th.D;D.D of Chicago,Ill who serves as Jurisdictional Bishop of India in the World Bishops Council. Bishop Jones also received the backing of the College of Bishops in the World Bishops Council (Brooklyn N.Y) on May 1 2005 Bishop Jones received the laying on of hands with 3 lines of Succession by Archbishop Ronald McPherson Primate and Overseer of Battlefield Ministries Worldwide,Inc(New Albany,In) a Bishop with Apostolic Succession did install then Bishop Jones as a Bishop in True Apostolic Succession with 3 lines of Succession. On July 8th 2005 Apostle Jones received an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from St.Thomas Christian College of Jacksonville,Florida. Dr.C.J. Sheppard was the presenter.
Bishop Jones has attended the Charles Harrison Mason Bible College in Racine under the tutelage of Dr. Betty Poujoo.
Attended the Sure Foundation Bible College
Taken a correspondence course with Kenneth Hagin Ministries
He has also been a featured contributor on Sermon Central.com
He is a skillfull Drummer playing since he was 3 years old.
