- Dr. Eric Jarmon was born in Chester PA. He is the youngest of seven siblings. He grew up in Salem, New Jersey. He graduated from Salem High School in1975. It was during his formative years that he was introduced to Christ and accepted Him as his Savior..
He attendedTaylorUniversity, Upland, IN. He was called into the ministry on August, 1st, 1976. He preached his first sermon at Soul-Saving Center, Penns Grove, NJ. He was under the pastorate of Elder Irvin A. Hinmon.
While at Taylor, he learned about the concepts of "Faith and Learning". He conceptualized the terms and integrated them into his own ideology for Christian Education.
He graduated with a BS in Social Work and a minor in Religious Studies.Upon graduating from Taylor,he became a member at the Rock of Age Holy Church, Camden, NJ. This was under the pastorate of His grace, Bishop Raymond Walker, Jr. It was there that he was ordained into the Gospel ministry.
In 1991, he felt the Lord calling him to pursue his educational wish to attend Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wynnewood, PA. He graduated from Eastern with his M. DIV.
After finishing at Eastern, he was called to become the Assistant Pastor at Church of the Good Sherpherd UM Church, Willingboro, NJ. A year later, he was selected to become the Pastor of St. Paul UM Church in Mt. Holly, NJ. He later on became the Pastor/Founder Of New Transformed Life Church, Mt. Holly, NJ.
Again, as a Pastor, he felt the call upon his life to obtain a Doctrate degree. He attended Trinity Theological Seminary, Newburgh, IN. He was pursuing a Ph,D in Christian Leadership and Adminstration, but had to change his track. Because of his late wife being terminally ill, he needed time to administer and take care of her. He graduated with his D.MIN. in Christian Leadeship. He graduated with "High Honor"(3.98 GPA).
Dr. Jarmon is a Man of Faith and holds the Lord true to His promises. As a product of his Holiness background, he believes that God is looking for a people that will serve Him in the beauty of Holiness. He stands firm on his convictions: "That without Holiness, no man shall see the face of God." He sees himself as a true Worshipper. He feels and believes that worship will take you into the face of God.
Recently, he relocated from Philadelphia, PA. (City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection) to Charlotte, NC. He was on sabbaatical from pastoring to heal inwardly.He was a member at Nations Ford Community Church, Charlotte, NC, under the capable leadership of Bishop P. M. Davis.
While under the leadership of his pastor, God spoke to him and said, "It is now time to come back doing what I have called you to do. I have called you to do a work. I have selected you to start The New Harvest Worship Center. It will be there that you will teach my people about "My Holy Nature." and you will teach them how to worship and exalt Me." As I was with Moses so I will be with you." These are the words that God spoke to him on June 11,2009@5AM.
Since being here in the South, God has provided for him a wife. On January 24, 2009, he was joined together with Lady Betty Jarmon.She stands beside him and supports the vision

He has three son: Evan, Brian, and Eric,11. He has four grandchildren: Marcus, Jay, Na'eem and Anaya
