Good morning to all of God's People:

What a joy it is to have a network to share God's truth with and be encouraged by and illuminated through what God has whispered and to some shouted in your ears.  There is a Word from our God!  On yesterday, I was once again reminded that our God is Faithful!  I had a golden opportunity presented to me over a month ago.  Things seemed to have gone well.  However, when I called to follow up a week later, I did not receive a response.  My dad (Rev. Dr. Robert Payton ,Sr.) prayed for me after I told him of the opporunity.  Nothing happened. It had been over a month.  So, trusting in God, knowing that He promised not to with hold any good things from me if I walk upright, I said, "it wasn't for me".  I was fine with that because I do not want anything that God doesn't want for me.  I trust His plans for my life Jeremiah 29:11 and Psalms 91).  Strangely, I was talking with my daughter on the way to a church outting to hear my dad preach a pastoral anniversary service last night.  I told her that I wanted the opportunity but the drive was more than I wanted to do, so that I was fine with not having it.  I told her that if I was given the opportunity, then I would drive the distance.  I told her that if it was for me, God would have granted it.  I said to myself, okay God, I trust You. I am waiting on Your better for me!  After service on last night, I came home and checked my emails.  I found an email from another decsion maker in the process who was told by the primary decison maker to meet with me regarding this opportunity.  Wow!  I was reminded of Daniel's prayer for help from our God.  God heard him and had given him a positive answer; However, the adversary got busy and delayed the angel. Daniel's promise was delayed and not denied.  To all of God's people, we MUST hold on to our faith.  We must stand on God's Word.  In a world of compromise and disregard for the Creator of the universe, we must know that we know!  We cannot waiver.  Even when we think that God has said no (praying in His will), we must not loose faith.  We must stand with the faith that Mary had at the Wedding Celebration.  Even after Jesus said that running out of wine was not His business, Mary's faith told the others to do as He said.  She knew that He would honor her request.  Another woman told Jesus that "even the dogs eat the crumbs from the masters table, after it seemed that Jesus was not going to grant her request.  Turning water to wine was not a life or death situation nor was it a true necessity.  Afterall, if the people were thirsty, they had water to drink.  The wedding guest were not having a Hagar and Ishmael experience-being in a desert dying from thirst.  Not being a true necessity due to the need to quench a  thirst and survive,  yet Jesus granted the request. By HIs power but by theri faith were these requests granted.  Hagar and Ishmael experienced the God of  thier needs.  But Mary, just as King David, experienced the Shepherd of thier wants.  My appeal today is that God is the God of our needs and the Shepherd of our wants"!  "Without faith it is impossible to please God"!  Saints, I hope that you have been encouraged to steady war on this battlefield.  Know that the battle is not ours, but the Lord's'!  Stay strong in the faith! He will lead you int green pastrues and restore your soul!  Have a blessed day. To God be the glory for the things that He has done!!!!!!

To God Be The Glory For The things that He has done!  Inner and Outer beauty is how God made us virtuous women.  Let's train an army of young girls and women to know this!
