Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, went to the leading priests and asked, “How much will you pay me to betray Jesus to you?” And they gave him thirty pieces of silver. From that time on, Judas began looking for an opportunity to betray Jesus. (Mt 26:14-16)

Judas was one of the twelve disciples, about to become a top leader of the new Christian movement – the great Kingdom of God. How did this “rising star” fall? Love of money! Blinded by his greed he approached the priests! He suggested to betray Jesus! He negotiated the price! He accepted payment in advance! Then he began to actively work against Jesus, looking for an opportunity to betray God!
How much is Jesu really worth to you? How much money would you betray Jesus for? Life is not about fame or money, it is about serving Jesus, the King of Kings!
