You know Ice-T made a very profound statement, yes, I said Ice-T, he said, "BEING IN LOVE IS NOT LOOKING IN EACH OTHER EYES, BUT ITS WHEN YOU ARE BOTH LOOKING IN THE SAME DIRECTION..." You like that right?As we all know the Bible says, Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (2Corinthians 6:14) - BUT YET WE KEEP DOING IT!

Love does not hurt, but having a mate whose compass is pointing in another direction than yours - DOES!! Your spirits have to connect in order for you to last - bottom line. You both should love spiritual things, like praying together, worshiping together, feeding the homeless together, talking about the Word and learning it together, and these types of things will connect you spiritually, and keep you from doing things that are detrimental to your spirits together, like premarital sex. Doing godly things with your new mate will enable you both to grow together in the things of God, because if you're not connected spiritually, then the enemy can have a field day with you, because you both aren't grounded in the Lord together, so he being relentless in wanting you to suffer, will begin to work on whoever has their eyes, or compass facing toward him - thus making you the weakest link in the union.

You have to make a effort to know their roots during the dating stages. What is this person you are with grounded to, what is in their soul, what is in the fiber of their being, these are things that people cannot lie about because they will come out in the long run, so in order to protect your heart, you don't need to get deep with them until you know these things of them for sure or anchored in the Lord.

Its a sad thing to see that people can harbor SO much anger inside their hearts that they lash out against others for little or no reason at all. Their unhappiness. Within their lives causes them to handle conflict by yelling, being belligerent, raging out fighting and cussing. There's nothing that can result from this but death and destruction. Their Strife can cause the innocent unsuspecting to become victims of such rage. A heart THAT bitter, angry, dark and wounded needs to be HEALED. ASAP
