I was on my way to the beach in India when I noticed these vessels. Water vessels like these at one time were likely made of wood or terracota. Today Indian women carry water from the Bay of Bengal using plastic vessels. Like God's church the vessels may change throughout the generations but the purpose remains the same. As ministers of the Gospel we are the current vessels, the source is God Himself and His Holy Spirit and the precious substance is the word of God.
