THERE IS POWER IN THE PRECIOUS PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THE LAMB The Power’s In The Blood Leviticus 17:11 “For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life” Often referred to as “The River of Life”, Blood is the life force behind all living beings. Life. Living, breathing, heart-pumping life! Blood, a combination of plasma and cells, it flows through all living vertebrates. Blood carries oxygen & nutrient throughout the entire body. It carries away waste product. It heals bleeding wounds through coagulation. Blood has a complex messenger system that transports hormones and it sends signals anytime there is tissue damage, or invasion of something foreign in the body. Antibodies attack what doesn’t belong and then signals there is something going on. Blood regulates the core body temperature. It’s amazing how complex the blood system is. It literally keeps every part of the body running. Leviticus 7:11 tells us that “The life of a creature is in the blood” It truly is the river of life! Nowhere is it more evident that God exist than inside the human body. Blood, the human body, & all its complexities are overwhelming evidence and bears witness to the awe-inspiring Elohim, God the creator! I’m amazed that doctors can know everything about the human body, and yet some, still deny that God exist. Romans 1:20 “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” NIV Have you ever wondered why “blood” is the single atonement for sin? Why couldn’t we all just ask forgiveness without the shedding of blood?

The answer is that there is POWER in the blood. The bible says that Cain, who worked the soil, brought some of the fruits from his soil & labor, as an offering to the Lord. Able, who kept the flocks, brought fat portions from some of the. The Lord looked on Able with favor, but not Cain. So Cain became angry and this led him to kill his brother Able. When the Lord asked Cain where Able was, like many people confronted after doing wrong, Cain lied and said he didn’t know. But Genesis 4:10 says “The Lord said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground”. . The Lord knew Abel was dead because he heard Abel’s blood, his life force, calling out from the ground. Blood contains tremendous power! A flawless animal, one of the highest quality, was frequently sacrificed on an altar, spilling its blood as an offering to God for the atonement of mankind's iniquity. Only Blood from the best animals were worthy enough for the atonement of one’s sins.The blood of Jesus was the ONLY blood worthy to be shed as the ultimate sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins! Can you picture Christ, hanging on the cross, his body literally broken & beaten. After all the tortured beatings & floggings he endured, and after having heavy nails driven through his wrists and feet, a soldier walks up to him and drives his sword into Christ’s side. Christ’s blood running down his body, legs, & feet, sprinkles the ground. THAT is the BLOOD that covers you and me! Just like the blood that runs through our bodies giving life and nutrients to sustain us spirit, soul & body! The blood of Jesus was shed for the atonement of our life and his blood pleads on our behalf, not only for God to forgive us, but His blood pleads for us to be healed of our sickness & disease. His blood pleads for God to show us mercy. His blood pleads for God’s protection over us. There is power and life in His blood and when we pray in the name of Jesus

Acts 2:32-33: God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of it. Exalted to the right hand of God. . .” Romans 9:1 “I speak the truth in Christ—Philippians 4:7 “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”. Ephesians 1:18-20 18 “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,” Ephesians 3:16 “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,” Dear Lord Jesus: Thank you for the blood you poured out for our sins. A people who could never be worthy of the tremendous sacrifice you made, may we be forever grateful. As your blood sprinkled down to the ground, it also sprinkled over us in order that we may be sanctified and able to be called children of God. Empower us by your Holy Spirit; make us sensitive to the moving of the Spirit within our lives. Give us boldness to declare your GLORY! Give us boldness to claim Healing over our lives by the power of Christ’s blood, shed for us! Give us boldness to claim the promises of your word through the power of your Holy Spirit and through the power of Your Blood poured out for the atonement of our sins! Guide and direct each our lives, so that may be used for your purpose and your glory, In the Precious name of Jesus, Amen.
