PRAYERS FOR OUR BELOVED PRESIDENT

{The prayer is taken from 1 Kings 3:5-15}

Sovereign Lord, our God, you have made Barack Obama, President of the United States of America. But even with man’s advanced education and experience we are as little children, who don’t know our way around – this is evident, as we observe our Congress who frequently poise themselves against him [while factions among them] conspire and secretly work to undermine everything he does. We are ever conscious of the fact that we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places [operating behind the scene to undo our government]. Therefore, we put on every piece of God’s armor and we boldly resist the enemy and bind all principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, and spiritual wickedness in high places who war against our President and our great nation (Ephesians 6:12-14). We specifically bind all spirits of rebellion, sabotage, and demonic cohorts and render them helpless in every situation [regarding the affairs of this nation]. As a matter of record, we declare that the spirit of anti-Christ and all ranks of demonic forces are hereby bound in the Name of Jesus [with the authority and power He has delegated to us as believers]!

We decree that President Barack Obama now walks in divine favor with every branch of government. He has preferential treatment, supernatural increase, supernatural restoration, increased assets, great victories, recognition and prominence; even policies and laws are changed in his favor - in the Name of Jesus' (Esther 8:5; Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:22-25).

Heavenly Father, you have placed President Obama in the midst of Your own chosen people; a diverse international community of people so great and numerous they cannot be counted!

Our prayer is that you would strengthen him in his inner man by the the power of your might and give President Barack Obama an understanding heart so that he can lead Your people well and discern the difference between right and wrong [even in difficult situations]. For who, by himself is able to lead this great nation of Yours?”

Therefore, give unto your servant [President Barack Obama] wisdom and very great insight, and a breadth of understanding as measureless as the sand on the seashore.

Like king Solomon, may our beloved President bask in Your secret counsel and confidential communion and may his wisdom and prosperity far exceed what others are being told about him. May those whom he leads and those who labor with him find it a privilege to stand before him day after day as they listen to his extraordinary wisdom!

We declare that The Sovereign LORD has given President Barack Obama an instructed tongue; to know the Word that sustains the weary. The Lord wakens him morning by morning; wakens his ears to listen like one being taught (Isaiah 50:4). Skillful and Godly wisdom has now entered into our President’s heart, and knowledge is pleasant to his soul! We declare that President Barack Obama and his family are happy, blessed, fortunate, and enviable because they have found skillful and Godly wisdom, and now draw it forth from the Word of God and from life’s experiences. Since our beloved President has responded to wisdom’s call and her rebuke, she [Lady Wisdom -Proverbs 8] has poured out her heart to him and made her thoughts known to him. His path is literally like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day because he is a righteous man.

May the entire world praise You O Lord my God and give glory to You; because it is evident to them that You delight in President Barack Obama and have placed him in this high office. You have done this because of Your eternal love for Your people.
