- Dr. Aaron B. McNair, Sr. is a native of Newark, New Jersey and was educated in the Wayne County Public Schools in Goldsboro, North Carolina. He continued his education at Carolina Bible College in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Dr. McNair is ON FIRE FOR JESUS! His desire is to see people mature and grow in the Word and find their place in the Body of Christ.
At the age of 23, he accepted his call into the gospel ministry. The first three years Dr. McNair traveled as a renown Revivalist and Evangelist. Later, he was called to the New Mt. Moriah United Holy Church of America in Farmville, North Carolina. He believes that in order to minister, a man must first be willing to serve. God has anointed him and he just “goes-with-the-flow,” of the Holy Spirit! Under the leadership of Dr. McNair, the church has introduced and expanded through its weekly Radio Ministry, Television Ministry, and has introduced a Computer and Prison Ministry. Other ministries include the Men and Women’s Ministries, Street Witnessing, Audio, Youth, Deliverance Prayer Ministries, City-Wide Revivals and more. Dr. McNair believes IT’S ABOUT MINISTRY. He is a national and international revivalist. He has ministered in Brazil, and conducted crusades in South Africa, Germany and Hong Kong, Virgin Islands, and Barbados and throughout the Unites States.
In addition to his pastoral ministry, he has served as Vice President of the Young People Holy Association (YPHA) of the Southern District Convocation, and is now presently serving as President. He also serves as the National President of the United Holy Church of America Youth Department. He serves as a Vice President of the Eastern District Union. He serves as the Assistant Executive Director of the Community Crisis Center and Transitional Housing for the Homeless in Goldsboro, NC. In addition to this, Dr. McNair has served on the Advisory Board for the Pastors Consortium International, and interdenominational fellowship empowering leaders for effective ministry. Dr. McNair is a former student of the Trinity Bible College. He has completed advanced studies in Homiletics and Hermeneutics at The Regents College in Oxford, England. Most currently, he received his Doctorate of Theology from the North Carolina College of Theology. His signature sermon entitled “Preaching with a Problem” is featured in Oxford Sermons Volume III. He is the author of the soon to be released book entitled, “Preaching with a Problem” published by CSN Publishing Company.
In September 1990, he was united in holy matrimony to Michelle Renee Green. Lady Michelle McNair enjoys working with children and loves people. Dr. and Lady McNair have three children, Minister Aaron Jr., Courtney, and Jaquetta.
Psalm 34:8 reads, “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who trusteth in Him.” Dr. McNair is a gospel preacher who loves the Lord. He is known for his great patience and love for everyone regardless of age, race, ethnic background or education.
Dr. McNair’s vision is to bring as many lost souls to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as possible, before the coming return of Our Savior- and to prepare those who have been wounded by disappointments of life, and the effects of sin, to receive their healing from God and to move forward in their walk and service to the Lord. He believes that there should never be any denominational barriers in the Body of Christ. There is only One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism and One Gospel to be preached to all men. He knows that preaching and teaching is vital to the salvation of souls and Spiritual growth in the Body of Christ. He stands firm in knowing that no one is beyond the reach of God’s mercy and grace. “Dr. McNair is a man of vision and positive influence.”

JOB DESCRIPTION
The music department of Shiloh U.C.C. is seeking a qualified and creative part-time piano player to play every Sunday of the month for the Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, Young Adult/Youth Choir, and the Mass Choirs. Shiloh U.C.C. enjoys a mix of contemporary and traditional gospel music. Interested candidates must be able to teach vocal parts, recommend new songs, work with a team, work with the current Minister of Music and follow directions. Additionally, the part-time piano player must be able to travel with choirs and the church congregation in support of the pastor for invitations at other churches. The candidate must be able to practice with choirs at least twice a week in preparation for Sunday morning service. Candidates that can read music is a plus (not mandatory).
Shiloh United Church of Christ is located in rural Fayetteville, NC close to the Baywood subdivision and golf course. The church is under new leadership and headed in a new direction. To get in on the ground level of a growing ministry will be both musically and spiritually rewarding.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Candidates must have at least five years of experience in playing for a church or in a church setting.
• Must have own transportation
• Must be dependable
• Must be able to play both traditional and contemporary gospel
