Her Grace Apostle Dr. Nailah B. Gilliam - Mar Alala, is the Senior and Pastor and founder, along with her husband, Pastor Wayne Gilliam, of Praise to the King Ministries, Inc. located in Wilmington, DE. Apostle and Pastor are proud to be part of the Living Waters International Alliance (LWIA), founded by their Overseers, Bishop Steven W. and Dr. Kiera Banks of Newport News, VA.

Apostle Gilliam is Kingdom-minded "Watchman on the Wall," who is committed to developing the Five-Fold Ministry gifts lying dormant and untapped in the House of God!

She is straight-forward in preaching the Word of God...taking a non-nonsense approach when it comes to engaging the enemy in battle for the souls of men and women. She believes in the power of prayer and agreement. She is a leader, an equipper, a spiritual pillar and foundation. She is engaging and has the ability to flow equally well in the corporate boardroom as she does in the pulpit. Apostle Gilliam is known for being witty and spontaneous. She is very approachable and reachable. She loves teaching and reaching God's people.

Apostle Gilliam spent 10 years as a volunteer minister in a men's correctional facility where she provided one-on-one pastoral counseling and preached chapel services. As a result of her efforts, more 400 men made decisions for Christ during this time. Some of these men are members of Praise to the King Ministries, today, as a testament to the awesome power of the gospel to transform the lives of the truly repentant.

Apostle Gilliam holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies, as well as an M.A. and Doctorate in Theology from International Christian University of Chesapeake, VA.

Married to her partner in life and ministry (Pastor Wayne), Apostle is the mother of 3 adults sons (youngest whom serves with them in ministry) and the grandmother of five.

She also has many spiritual sons and daughters, including Pastors Dennis and Debra Smith of Greensboro, NC, Rev. David Oloo, of Homa-Bay, Kenya and Minister Evans Derrick of Antwerpen, Belgium.

In addition to her ministerial duties, Dr. Gilliam serves as Program Management Director of her municipality's Department of Real Estate and Housing, where she has been employed since 1993. She looks forward, in the not too distant future, to being in fulltime ministry and fulfilling her call to develop a truly holistic ministry that promotes the Kingdom at a level that impacts housing, business, science, finance, education, communications media and emerging technologies. She is determined to be one who has an active part in helping the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ.

God Bless you woman of God. It is my fervent prayer that at your worship experience on tomorrow that the church would be edified, that God would be glorified, and the the devil will be horrified. And most of all, that souls would be added to the church.

Blessings and Joy!
