Bishop G.J. Ruffin, Jr. was born September 21, 1970 in Detroit, Michigan. He now resides in Birmingham, Alabama. In 1995 he was ordained as an Elder by All Nations Pentecostal Churches of God. In 1996 he founded the "Obey Is Better Than Sacrifice (O.S.) House of Prayer in Detroit, Michigan. In 1999 he was consecrated Bishop by All Nations Pentecostal Churches of God. In the year of a new beginning 2008 he founded the Warrior House of Prayer in Birmingham, Alabama.

Anyone who knows anything about Bishop Ruffin knows that he is truly a chosen vessel, anointed and appointed to serve God and his people. Bishop Ruffin is known for instructing and encouraging people everywhere to give all reverence, thanks, praise, honor and glory to God as done in his favorite scripture:

Psalms 24:7-10,"Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory."
