THE BISHOP

Regarded as a master communicator with an innate ability to meet mankind eye to eye and a leading authority on Church Government, Administration and Protocol, Bishop J. T. McNeil is considered to be a prodigy among his peers. Born and raised in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the city of Philadelphia, he has spearheaded the ministry God has entrusted him with within this same metropolis, being Pentecostal in doctrine, yet Ecumenical in style.

Lauded as one of his generations quentessential charismatic leaders, Bishop McNeil has effectively crossed denominational and social lines alike in his ministry througout the years, utilizing a practical scriptural approach with an engaging oratorical style that captures the attention of all of his audiences. His innovative leadership and cutting ede ministry initiatives have made him a renowned leader and a much sought after administrative consultant within both religious and secular circles alike. He is also regarded as a captivating writer and rising author. Bishop McNeil's literary credits extend to the newspaper and magazine arena, as well as being a collaborative author on many pamphlets regarding church goverment and administration. He is soon to be releasing his first book in 2010.

Bishop McNeil is also a strong proponent of education, having himself attained a Bachelor Degree of Church Ministry and Master of Theology from the Sure Foundation Theological Institute. It is the mission of Bishop McNeil to “Evangelize for Salvation, Educate for Purpose and to Equip for Destiny,” so that the world might have an encounter with God and never be the same.

EPISCOPACY & PASTORATE

Bishop McNeil was elevated through consecration ceremony in April 2007 by Bishop John Henry Davis and the Presidium of the Church of God in Christ International (AR), serving as the Jurisdictional Bishop of Pennsylvania. Later after joining the Holy Temple Covenant Fellowship of Churches International (H.T.C.F.C.I.), under his His Grace, Bishop J. Shawn Urquhart, he was affirmed to the bishopric by the Primate and the Board of Bishop in February of 2009.

Starting out as a Suffragan Episcopate with H.T.C.F.C.I., Bishop McNeil's steady leadership and administrative abilities have allowed him to be elevated to the Presidium, the chief leadership of the fellowship body. On the Presidum, he serves as the Bishop of Administration, General Secretary and Advisor to the Presiding Bishop. He also serves as the Chairman over all National Auxiliaries and as the Greater Mid-Atlantic Diocesan Prelate, overseeing churches in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio.

Outside of this great faith family, Bishop McNeil is priveleged to be a member of the Joint College of African American Pentecostal Bishops. Bishop McNeil is the Founder of Divine Destiny Church International, later changed to the Cathedral of Life Restoration Center, where he currently serves as Senior Pastor.

McNeil Ministries, of which he is the Central Executive Officer, which features both the "Fire in the City" Conference and the "Harvest Crusade." DESTINYWORKS ENTERPRISES is a subsidiary ministry of J. T. MCNEIL MINISTRIES that focusess on Church Growth & Administration, Websites and Christian Entertainment through stageplays.

Bishop McNeil is most proud to simply be servant and a laborer in God's vineyard. His greatest testimony is best described by a song penned by Jack P. Sholefield:
