About Me: (Ministry Info, Hobbies, Fav. Music etc.): 1970-present, was born at home in Pine Lake, Georgia to Shirley and Robert Lay. From the time of his birth, the enemy was after him seeking to snuff out his life. His mom was in labor for 12 hours with him stuck in the birth canal without medical attention. It was a miracle that he came out alive. Early on in life, at the tender age of 5, he was diagnosed with a learning disorder .The school reports stated that his IQ was lower than 70 and that he would never live on his own, but would always need someone to take care of him. Those words were a lie from the enemy that Tony, with the power of the word of God and faith, had to fight .

When Tony was nine he realized his need for a Savior and became a Christ Follower. He was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit in 1979.However, growing up was not easy. His parents divorced when he was the ten. From that point on, he was raised by his single mom in Tuscon,AZ. When he was eleven years old, friend, Rev. David Herzog, (a child himself at the time) rescued him from drowning. Tony struggled through school from Dyslexia.

By the time he reached 18 years old, he had hardened his heart toward the Lord. Some Christian friends invited him to go hiking in the Catalina Mountains. He told them he would go as long as none of them tried to talk to him about God. They agreed. Tony and his friends ventured out on their overnight hiking trip. The next morning as they were hiking back the weather suddenly changed and a snowstorm hit. It was impossible to get out.

They were lost in the mountains for 5 days. Tony and his friends all suffered from hypothermia and frost bite. At one point, Tony's heart stopped beating and his friend did cpr to revive him. While Tony's heart was stopped, he had an encounter of a life changing degree. He says he was in a tunnel falling, hearing demonic laughter. He yelled out "Jesus save me" and then he came back to life.A few hours later the helicopters found them. Tony surrendered to the Lord that day and to the call of ministry on his life.

Bishop Tony Lay entered the ministry in 1990 as a Children's Pastor. He then went on to study the Word through Berean University a In 1995, he joined his life and ministry with his wife Angela. Together they founded Pillar of Fire Ministries.Pastors Tony and Angela were ordained in 2005 with Glorybound Ministries.Tony and Angela have serviced in multiple ministry positions including Youth Pastors, Church Planters, Senior Pastors,Missionary Pastors, and currently as World Wide Evangelists. In the early years of his life there was a word, a lie spoken over him. The doctors and teachers said he would never be able to function in society due to a learning disability. The enemy wanted to halt and stop the plan of God in his life. In his adult life he battled with seizures but God still had a plan.In 1998 Jerry Gaffney prayed over Tony commanding the spirit of fear to leave and prophesied that he would have a great healing anointing like William Branham and John G. Lake. Tony and his wife Angela stood on that word for years before it became manifested. In 2000, Tony suffered several grand mal seizures that almost took his life. Shortly after that in a service in El Paso,TX Tim Storey called him out in a crowd of about 5,000. Tim Storey confirmed the words of Jerry Gaffney that the Lord was bringing healing to him and his family and that the Lord had put an incredible healing anointing on his life. Bishop Tony Lay has had NO MORE SEIZURES sense that day.

In Luke 21:25 we read, “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.”
