FROM THE DESK OF DR. TINJANI YUSUF
Leprosy Alleviation Program of Nigeria.
Lagos-State.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Compliments of the day! I am Dr.Tinjani Yusuf President/Founder of Leprosy Alleviation Program of Nigeria (LAP) Non Governmental Organisation in Nigeria. The awareness of leprosy became visible in the late 1980’s in the Northern and Western part of Nigeria. As a research Doctor on house job in the University of Ibadan, a Western University in Nigeria. I was designated to attend to leprosy patients and I felt the humorous life they live without care and shelter.

These came to me as challenge to my profession and my being, which got me motivated to care for leprosy patients and sufferers still on my research, I came in tough with some bodies whom had the same vision with Dr. Tinjani Yususf, this led to the formation of Leprosy Alleviation Program (LAP) a non governmental organization in Nigeria.

We are soliciting for support to care and meet up the leprosy patients their needs in and within the country and outside the country, as we have a government that does not make provision for the sick not to talk about sufferers of disease like leprosy, which the death rate annually has increased to about 80% and sufferers 20%. On our effort to meet their demands that is why we seek your kind gesture to enable us meet their needs, this is as a result of insufficiency on our part to meet up their requirements and upkeeps and extend our awareness all over Nigeria and sub-regions in West African Countries that do experience leprosy.

We got your e-mail address through a private search to seek for kind persons and organizations that can assist us achieve our goal. All voluntary donations made to the organization (LAP) should go through Mrs.EMMAUELLA OBIEKWE, Lagos – Nigeria the secretary of Leprosy Alleviation Program (LAP) of Nigeria via Western Union Money Transfer or Money Gram Nigeria. Our contact email: leprosyalleviationprogram_lap@yahoo.es

BE CHARITABLE, DONATE FOR THE NEEDY AS WE EXPECT YOUR KIND RESPONSE.

Thanks and God bless us all.

My warm regards

DR.TINJANI YUSUF
Founder / President
