At 8:05pm on July 21, 2009, Hardest Working Woman in Credit said…: Here's the tip for July. Make sure that all of your accounts are being reported correctly. To clarify this I mean all your CREDIT LIMITS are being reported.

Some times there is a system error that reports your CREDIT LIMIT as the HIGH LIMIT.. When this happens you loose points...

This is one of the things I see happening on alot of accounts.. This is also a reason WHY your scores may be different. Although, different accounts are reported DIFFERENTLY to separate credit bureaus..your AVAILABLE CREDIT may not be reported correctly. This affects your credit score and many people are not WATCHING the actions of these companies and the credit bureaus..
