Dr. Debora Hooper is a former pioneer rapper (Debbie-D featured with Us Girls in the hip hop movie, Beat Street) turned preacher and now pastor and author. She holds both an earned Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry Degree and has served as a Professor of Biblical Studies, specializing in Greek New Testament. As an ordained, full-time itinerant evangelist with over 20 years of ministerial experience, Dr. Hooper pauses to become the first African American, and woman, to write a complete ministry handbook to guide and empower new and aspiring ministers and evangelists in the area of clergy development. Dr. Hooper believes that, "you can't do what you don't know." Thus, this tell-all ministry handbook seeks to enlighten every minister with abundant practical information, taking them from the call of ministry to soul winning techniques, to the pulpit to the plane, with a spirit of excellence!
