- Speaking through Genesis 12, in March of 1987, God directed Dr. Simeon Agbolabori, who then worked for National Electric Power Authority (N.E.P.A.) to move to the United State of America to start a work for him. A few weeks later, he got a visa and he arrived in Houston Texas on April 3, 1987. After trying his hand at several secular occupations, the Lord ordered him to start the work for which He had come.
With this divine instruction Dr. Agbolabori introduced his vision to start a ministry where people would receive love, healing and divine restoration. A meeting of minds among the founding pastor Dr. Simeon Agbolabori and two others in December 1989 led to the founding of a church now known as the Chapel of Restoration.
