It is a rarity and an absolute pleasure to encounter an individual as gifted with lyricism,
Spiritual insight and vitality as Dr. Velita Streat! She is a talented orator who has honed
Her gifts as visionary, storyteller, and counselor into those of a captivating teacher and motivational speaker. In concert with her profound abilities as a speaker, she has
emerged as a scribe with a literary finesse to match vivid attention to detail with artistry
to craft the written word. God has truly anointed her!
News of her power-packed deliveries as a speaker and exhorter spread quickly! As a
result she was invited to a host of National workshops, retreats, ministry platforms,
television and radio broadcasts such asTBN, Daystar Share-a-thon and
KGGR Gospel Radio.
Her ministry is to administer Love and care for all people. Her purpose is to spiritually
restore and refresh others lives, in a way that reflects the biblical passage
that says,"...to comfort all who mourn and provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow
upon them the crown of Beauty instead of ashes and Joy instead of mourning"
Dr. Streat is presently awarded an Ambassador for Peace among the clergy at the
Global Peace Festival held at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters/Naomi Bruton Theatre on November 16, 2007 stands for restoring the Family and PEACE
to all nations!
Dr.Streat has one son Brenton Ga'Juan Harding whom is aspiring in music (SJH Enterprises) and drama.
Throughout her childhood and youth, Dr. Streat was nested in a family tradition of
apostolic ministry. Consequently, her close devotion to God and commitment to
spiritual growth was birthed, nurtured and challenged. She stepped out to fill
her personal call to ministry in 1987 when she began ministry studies.
Being an avid student, she succeeded in completing her Bachelors of Biblical
Studies, Masters of Biblical Studies, Doctorate of Apostolic Ministry at the Institute
for Teaching God's Word Theological Seminary in Rockdale, Texas in 1998.
During this academic development period, Dr. Streat served faithfully as a certified
instructor and tenured as Co-Pastor of Dayspring Christian Center, Desoto Texas.
To round out this accomplishment and fulfill her skills to help hurting people and
to heal the brokenhearted, she completed training for crisis counseling certification
at the American Academy of Crisis Counseling, Rockdale, TX.

WITH ALL THE LOVE
Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God stuck U in the name of His Son.
And each time U pray, you'll see it's true,
You can't spell out JesUs and not include U.
You're a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that's why He came.
And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified.
Isn't it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?
The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
And this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.
When JesUs left earth at His Upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.
'Go into the world and tell them it's trUe
That I love them all - Just like I love U.
So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don't they have a right to know JesUs too?
It all depends now on what U will do,
He'd like them to know,
But it all starts with U.
to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ dwell in your
heart through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend
with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - to know the love of
Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God" Eph. 3:16-19
