- A native of Hampton, Virginia, Lamont Sellers continues a rich spiritual tradition of ministry to the nations. Saved at the age of seven, God’s purpose began to unfold in his life as he was known as “lil’ preacher boy.” Lamont’s earliest ministry opportunities were birthed at Saint Timothy Church of Christ (Holiness) USA in Newport News, Virginia under the leadership of, then pastor, Rainer B. Wilson, Sr. Acknowledging the call of God on his life to preach in 1995, he preached his initial sermon on New Year’s Eve.
Lamont’s formal education at Shaw University (Raleigh, North Carolina) culminated in May 1999 with the awarding of the Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. While teaching in Woodbridge, Virginia he united with Elder Samuel L. Kendrick, Sr. at First Church of Christ (Holiness) USA, Washington, DC and was licensed to preach in 2000. Under the leadership of Elder Ralph A. Martino, Elder Sellers was ordained in April 2002. Elder Sellers continued his education at the University of Denver, receiving a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration.
Currently Elder Lamont resides in Hampton, VA and is Senior Advisor at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. Elder Lamont and Lady Myesha united in marriage and ministry and are the co-founders of EPIC Ministries (Empowering People In Christ). The two have been entrusted by God to birth and raise three beautiful children—Marcus, Mason, and Mea. The Sellers' are currently members of Dominion COGIC in Chesapeake, VA under the leadership of Pastor Clarence L. Sellers, Jr. and Lady Shavon S. Sumler.
