An ordained minister and teacher, with a rich history in the Apostolic and Pentecostal movement. Elder Williams has more than twenty years as a minster of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, also have served as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, and Chaplin of the local brotherhood chapter. He has worked with family, prison, and drug dependencies outreaches. But more importantly, Elder Williams has been baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and filled with gift of the Holy Ghost.

In April of 2001, Elder Williams founded Agape Worldwide Ministries, with a email Bible study that now has about 50 members throughout the U.S. and abroad. Through the ministry, Elder Williams has spoken at various prisons, shelters, outreaches, and seminars.

A Washington DC, metropolitan native, born to the late Elder Elijah Williams and Missionary Burrre N. Williams, on February 20, 1960, the second of four boys. Reared in the church, under the Late Bishop H.C. Brooks at the “mother church” of the Way of the Cross Churches. In August of 1985, Elder Williams accepted his calling into the ministry, under the leadership of his late father at the A.R. Harris Untied Way of the Cross Church of Christ. Presently, the Bishop Alphonzo D. Brooks serves as his spiritual father, who serves as the pastor of The Way of the Cross Church of Christ in Washington DC, which is the mother church of the Way of the Cross Churches of Christ International.

Elder Williams has a passion to teach the Word of the Lord in an uncompromising, yet loving way, addressing the issues that the church has found to be taboo. One who is more concern about your soul than your pocketbook or wallet. The ministry motto is “facing real issues, for real people, with a real God”. Currently Elder Williams is working on re-opening the Agape Way of the Cross Church, which was shut down after being hit by car in 2006.

Elder Williams hold a Bachelor degree in Theology from the Apostolic Christian College and is an ordained Elder of the Way of the Cross Churches of Christ International. He is also a certified teacher of the Evangelical Training Association.

Elder Williams is married to a wonderful woman of God, Yolanda Dewberry Williams and is the father of one daughter, Ciarah Catrice Williams. He is a man who has balance in his life, so you have a problem and the Redskins are playing....."take it to Jesus" (LOL)

Two questions are always asked of Elder Williams, one what does the T. stands for in my name (ask Jesus) and why don't I smile in my pictures. I only smile when I find something funny and taking pictures for some reason I loose the humor in. .

So with a smile (or lack thereof) that makes him seem, notice I said seem, distant and a sense of humor that many misunderstand, it all makes up Elder T. Byron Williams. "NOT SAVED ENOUGH FOR THE CHURCH, NOT SINFUL ENOUGH FOR THE WORLD, NOT FITTING IN ANYWHERE, YET JUST RIGHT FOR THE LORD.

THE COST OF THE ANOINTING

In the 10th chapter of Mark, the story is told of when James and John, the sons of Zebedee came to Jesus, and ask to sit at His right and left hand in glory. To which Jesus replied: You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said. “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?”

Many times we look at our pastors, or a Jakes, or whomever in an almost admiration of their ministry and the anointing on their lives. But often we are seeing the finished product,

VEXATION TO MY SOUL

I awake up more than vex this morning, my spirit is in sorrow over the condition of this world and its future. Next week (October 11, 2008) over 300,000 gay and lesbian are coming to DC, for what is called National Coming Out Day March on Washington. No needs to beat a dead horse, you all know how I feel about the stench called Homosexuality. If God calls it an abomination, then I have no choice as a child of God to do the same. I stand by the statement by the Late Bishop G.E. Patterson, if GContinue

SPOUSAL ABUSE.....IN THE CHURCH (PART THREE)

In a house that both are born again believers, we must believe that all answers to all problems can be found in the Word of God. Even spousal abuse, because if one believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, then they must also believe in the ordained role that has been given them as husband and wife and who they are to each other.

THE ROLE OF THE HUSBAND

The position of the husband in the home and his related responsibilities are quite clearly defined in principle in Ephesians 5:22, 28-31. “Wives s

SPOUSAL ABUSE.......IN THE CHURCH (PART TWO)

Emotional abuse silently attacks the self worth of a human being. There are no physical bruises for anyone to see or notice, no scars, or black and blue marks. Words that demean, shame, blame, threaten, or unfairly criticize, inflict emotional abuse. Neglect and withholding affection and/or love as a means of punishment are also forms of emotional abuse. Statistically, women and children are the more frequent victims of emotional abuse, although there are reported incidences of emotional and ver… Continue

SPOUSAL ABUSE.......IN THE CHURCH (PART ONE)

First and foremost the goal of Agape Worldwide Ministries is to bring men and woman to the true knowledge of Jesus, salvation with the indwelling of the Holy Ghost is their lives. But after that, we as believers still have to deal with everyday life and the trials that it bring. Unlike modern teachings, we do have problems in life, but we teach that unlike the world we have a savior who can give us peace in the midst of the storm. So Agape secondary goal is not to hide from life problems, but fa… Continue

Hello man of God. Victory is yours. This is your season for advancement. Trust God and obey Him in all that you do and say and watch Him work for you over the next few weeks. Those who have oppossed you and your ministry, your life, your victory that is awaiting you will be removed from your life soon. They will whither away like green grass that fades away as it turns yellow and dries up. Be encouraged. The victory is yours. Shout now!

Elder Williams,

Just stopping through to wish you a safe and blessed Holiday. May God's spirit by with you as you travel through this day. Isn't it awesome to know that we serve the true God of Independence and freedom. For whom the Son set's free, is free indeed.

Be blessed, and may God's love and favor overtake you.

In Him,
Pastor Eric
