God’s Word is where the glory is. The more you speak God’s Word, the more you’ll experience the glory of God in your life. Remember what the Bible says: “If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth…” (Ecclesiastes 11:3); this is what happens when you continually speak God’s Word. The atmosphere around you becomes so saturated with the anointing, causing the glory of God to be revealed in you.AMEN

The Spirit Of Ahab

This is a book that I wrote to shed some light and give balance to the "Jezebel Understanding".
I have often taught that without Ahab there would be no Jezebel. I actually published it a couple of years ago. It is a short book, but it is filled with revelation about the spiritual problems in men's lives. I hope it brings revelation and understanding. Please check it out. Feedback is welcomed.

THE SPIRIT OF AHAB by Pastor Stephen Darby (Copywrite 2007, River Publishing)
Introduction
From countless messages, sermons and movements the question is still not answered: WHAT IS WRONG WITH MEN. This is the posture from which this book was inspired. Many who read will find answers. Some will be enlightened. Others may become startled. But this question will be answered.

Pastor Stephen Darby

Jezebel: Power Behind the Throne.
Jezebel, Jezebel, Jezebel! The name has been identified with some of the worst events in biblical history. There are dozens of books written about this cunning and divisive woman. Her life, deeds and influence have been well documented. From the boardroom of corporate America to the pedestal in the greatest cathedrals, her story of manipulation and power seeking has been uncovered. With all this negative press, her influence is stronger than ever. The emasculating sitcoms, sensual music and pornography industry show the control of Jezebel and her harlot system is still flourishing. Her dominance is the cause of the divorce crisis in the church. Her tenacious attitude is the motivating force behind the abortion tragedy. As evil and treacherous as the spirit of Jezebel has been and still is, her power source seems to have been overlooked. Everything that Jezebel has done, she has done by using a man’s authority. The true power of Jezebel is a king who relinquishes his throne.

A Man After His Own Heart
1Ki 16:30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above all that were before him.
1Ki 16:31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him.
1Ki 16:32 And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria.
1Ki 16:33 And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
The word that best describes King Ahab is selfishness. Everything he did, from marrying into a forbidden culture to going to war against Ben Hadad three times, to taking Naboth’s vineyard was for his own self interests. Selfish ambition is at the heart of men with an Ahab spirit. They are only passionate about what concerns them. This egotistic personality draws them to a woman with a Jezebel spirit. When Ahab’s marries Jezebel’s it is not for love, it is a political partnership. Her willingness to use manipulation, control and sexual vice suits the ambitions of a man who wants his pleasures at any cost. For fulfilling his lust and greed she gets her heart’s desire: power and control. Ahab men need the driving force of Jezebel. A woman under the influence of a Jezebel spirit has many tactics and schemes that are useful to a man that puts his desires first. He can get what he wants without the responsibility of how he gets it. These types of marriages are nothing more than the exchanging of favors. They have an unspoken trade agreement: fulfill my lust and I will give you my power (authority). This union is a match made in hell. It is fire and gasoline or a match and gunpowder. This volatile mix will eventually explode and leave a landscape of destroyed children and followers in the aftermath.
Forever the Politician
When we study the life of Ahab we find that he was “forever the politician”. Ahab’s are masters at political situations because they are great compromisers. The absence of absolutes allow them to shift sides depending on who will further their agenda. They intentionally talk between the lines so it will be easy to backtrack later. Lying is a lifestyle. Dishonesty is their main weapon. Men who operate this way shy away from masculine authority. They will have a deep fear of godly men. Strong male authority exposes the spirit they operate from. Men of solid moral character are seen as dictators or drill sergeants. Around this kind of authority, Ahab men feel inadequate and they will seek out men that are extremely weak and inferior. They are not truly masculine; however they study masculinity so they can play the part.

The Ahab Connection
The core of homosexuality is rooted in the Ahab spirit. When a boy is not mentored and disciplined by masculine authority he will mimic the person who he feels is strong. Because it is usually the mother who corrects and disciplines the children, he will begin to identify with her. Once this process is in effect, the boy will use the tactics of femininity while also using the vigor or force of masculinity. The result will be a man who has masculine ambitions with feminine procedure. Feminine power and ability mixed with male passion mutates. The hunter becomes the hunted. Homosexuality is the result of a man using female ways to satisfy male needs. The task that God gave Adam was the responsibility to rule over Eve and his children. The position that God gave Eve was submission to Adam. The women’s needs are met when she submits to the man. The man gets his needs met when he leads and takes responsibility for the women and children. Homosexual men are the result of exchanging authority for submission. The reason God cursed Adam was he “hearkened unto the voice of his wife”. In essence, he submitted when he should have stood in authority. The Ahab spirit uses the same principle even if a man is not homosexual. But because Ahab is lust driven, he will eventually battle, if not succumb to this type of perversion.
The Mother Wife
1Ki 21:2 And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money.
1Ki 21:3 And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.
1Ki 21:4 And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.
1Ki 21:5 But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread?
1Ki 21:6 And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard.
1Ki 21:7 And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.
1Ki 21:8 So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling with Naboth. 1King 21
The worst tragedies in history were frequently perpetrated when men did nothing. Passivity is the character of Ahab men. They sit idly by and duck responsibility. Doing nothing is the profound tactic that gets them their way. Passivity is their password for Jezebel to “do her stuff”. These men will seem strong, even regal while in front of people, but retreat to child-like behavior behind closed doors. Their sulking empowers the Jezebel in their life. His weakness affirms her necessity. This is her justification for her rebellion and treachery: HE IS WEAK. When Ahab’s are in this pitiful state, it becomes an opportunity for Jezebel to gain more power. The weaker he is, the more her will is done. Total dependence is the goal of the Jezebel. His passivity and her control will shift their relationship from husband and wife, to mother and son. When Ahab and Jezebel’s relationship reached that pinnacle, it was time for judgment.

The Need to Succeed
1Ki 21:25 But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.
When a man enters into the mother/child relationship with his wife, it destroys God’s order for the home or ministry. In this type of atmosphere God’s will for healthy offspring won't be produced. The children and followers are thrust into confusion as these two personalities merge in a twisted exhibition of leadership. After this mutation Ahab remains king in word only. Jezebel has his authority and the ear of the elders. She is in total control. When Ahab’s recognize that they have given their authority away, they will need to make up for their emasculated feeling by conquest. Ahab continued to fight even when the prophet told him he would die. Seeking fame and grandeur consumes Ahab men. The thought is: THE MORE I SUCCEED, THE MORE POWER I HAVE, THE MORE I CAN HIDE MY INADEQUECY. Even Jacob the son of Isaac, after being manipulated to trick his father and brother by Rebecca his mother, was driven by this spirit. He lost the love of his life, Rachael, because his ambitions would not be set aside even for the birth of his child. By the time he stops his wagon and notices her in labor she is dead. Rachael died trying to follow him.

The Living Dead
Most men who suffer under the spirit of Ahab are fatalistic. They secretly feel that they must prove their manhood even if it means losing their life. Suicide is sometimes fanaticized because this is the ultimate act of “giving up or submission. The Ahab spirit is behind the gangs and hip hop culture’s fascination with death and murder. They feel so emasculated and worthless as men that dying becomes easier than living.

Dying To Change

1Ki 22:30 And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle.
1Ki 22:31 But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.
1Ki 22:32 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.
1Ki 22:33 And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him.
1Ki 22:34 And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.
1Ki 22:35 And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.

Men that suffer from the Ahab spirit will attempt many exterior alterations throughout their life. From the latest cars, to the latest clothes, to a new wife or moving to a new city. Their disguise will not change who they are. The feelings of inadequacy, emasculation and fatality still remain. Ahab’s life played out like the end of a sad movie. It seems that the idea of changing who he was came too late and was not internal. The failure of men with the spirit of Ahab is the inability to change. They continue trying to fulfill their emptiness with fame, lust and the adoration of a woman that can never be satisfied.
The Cure: HONOR
Paul admonished men to “love their wives”, but he also instructed wives to “respect or honor their husbands”. The main need of men is respect and honor, not sex as many continue to teach. Everything men do is for honor in some way or another. The need to be honored is the life motivation for most men. The Ahab spirit cannot attach to a man that is honored for who he is rather than what he does. The cycle of the Ahab spirit begins when a boy is not affirmed by an honorable source. If this doesn’t happen he will begin to seek it for himself, based upon his performance. Once he becomes performance oriented the Ahab spirit can gain control and puppet him by fear of rejection and dishonor. This is why Jezebel women are drawn to men who are gifted but weakened by lack of respect. The void of genuine affirmation is soon filled with her perverted opinion and the puppet/master relationship begins. His need for honor and respect will only be filled by trading his authority for her affirmation.

A Prayer for Men
Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I repent for selfishness, lust, greed and yielding to the spirit of Ahab. I renounce that spirit and command it to be bound and cast from me and my life. I ask you to heal me and affirm me from your word. I ask you to build me up as a man and guide me into right relationships. I wait upon you and your timing and stop being driven to succeed. Jesus break every soul tie that has developed with people that have a Jezebel spirit. I pray that you set them free also and then build our relationship on the correct foundation. Jesus, I ask you to forgive me for hurting my wife, children and others while under the influence of the Ahab spirit. I ask you to send me strong godly men to mentor me and walk with me as I trust you for total healing and deliverance.
In Jesus name, Amen

A Prayer for Women

Remove my bitterness towards men and heal the wounds that I have suffered in relationships. Help me to affirm my spouse and respect his leadership and authority. Help me to affirm my sons and not manipulate them. I ask you to make me a godly example to my daughters. I ask you to remove the fear of trusting and impart in me a greater faith in your ability to keep my heart. Ephesians 4:10-16 (Amplified Bible)
10He Who descended is the [very] same as He Who also has ascended high above all the heavens, that He [His presence] might fill all things (the whole universe, from the lowest to the highest).

11And His gifts were [varied; He Himself appointed and gave men to us] some to be apostles (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers and expounders), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers.

12His intention was the perfecting and the full equipping of the saints (His consecrated people), [that they should do] the work of ministering toward building up Christ's body (the church),

13[That it might develop] until we all attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the [[a]full and accurate] knowledge of the Son of God, that [we might arrive] at really mature manhood (the completeness of personality which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection), the measure of the stature of the fullness of the Christ and the completeness found in Him.

14So then, we may no longer be children, tossed [like ships] to and fro between chance gusts of teaching and wavering with every changing wind of doctrine, [the prey of] the cunning and cleverness of [b]unscrupulous men, [gamblers engaged] in every shifting form of trickery in inventing errors to mislead.

15Rather, let our lives lovingly [c]express truth [in all things, speaking truly, dealing truly, living truly]. Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him Who is the Head, [even] Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

16For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.

The Need to Control ......by Dr. Os Hillman

"You acted foolishly," Samuel said (1 Samuel 13:13).

The prophet Samuel had anointed King Saul the first king of Israel. He was now thirty years old and was leading the nation in battle against the Philistines. The Philistines had gathered at Micmash to come against Saul and his army. The Lord was directing Saul through the prophet Samuel as God had instructed. Samuel instructed Saul to go ahead of him to Micmash and he would follow in seven days. He would then offer a burnt offering on behalf of the people of Israel.

The pressure began to build as the Philistines gathered around Micmash preparing for battle. The people of Israel began to fear this battle and began to scatter throughout the countryside. Saul was getting more fearful. Samuel did not show up on the morning of the seventh day. Finally, Saul became fearful of the impending attack and took it upon himself to offer the burnt offering. After he had done this, Samuel showed up. "You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leader of his people, because you have not kept the Lord's command."

Saul believed he needed to take control of the situation. Whenever we take control of a situation out of the will of God, it demonstrates we are led by fear. Many a boss is so driven by fear that it motivates him to manage by over-control of his people. This results in codependent relationships in which the employees are fearful of making the wrong decisions, and they are driven to please the manager at all costs. This results in loss of respect for the manager. Many times the employee ends up making poor choices just to please the manager so that resentment begins to build within the employees due to the manager's over-control.

Do you see any signs of over-control in how you relate to others? Can you allow others the freedom to fail? Do you find yourself changing directions in mid-stream when you see something you don't like? Are you fearful of failure? These are all symptoms of a Saul control spirit. Pray that God will allow you to walk in the freedom of trusting in Him and those around you.

Situational Ethics .....by Os Hillman

LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart (Psalm 15:1,2).

"I cannot believe they are not going to honor my bonus agreement," said the executive who was about to take another position in a new city. Her understanding of her work agreement called for a bonus at the end of the year. Management saw the situation differently. "It's not right. I am entitled to that bonus," she complained.

It was time to leave. The company had given her a laptop to use. However, when she left she decided that since the company was not going to pay her the bonus she was entitled to, she would simply keep the laptop as compensation due her. "And they would never miss it," she reasoned. Days passed and she was now in the employment of the new company. As each day passed, she was uneasy about her decision. She could not get it off her mind. Finally, she concluded the Holy Spirit was telling her this decision was wrong and that she needed to call her boss to confess her action. She called her former boss and confessed what she had done and why she had done it. Her boss accepted her confession and forgave her. Strangely enough, he allowed her to keep the laptop computer.

Truth never changes. It is absolute. When we make decisions based on some other action that was taken, we have moved into making decisions based on the situation, not truth and righteousness. The executive may indeed have been wronged, but she had to address the wrong in the appropriate way. When we try to compensate for the wrong by doing something that violates another scriptural principle that is called situational ethics. If she had never been wronged by the employer, do you think she would have felt justified in taking the computer? Probably not. When you isolate the two situations you can see that one action was taken in response to the other action.

Are there any situations in which you have used situational ethics? The Lord desires His people to have a higher standard, even at the cost of being wronged. Ask the Lord to reveal any business practices that may indicate situational ethics. You might be surprised what will happen when you do the right thing.

Good Day My Wonderful Love One!. A Brother ask me if i had did some studying on Lord & Jesus? I appreciate his question in regards to Lord and Jesus. Because people just don't ask that guestion or study it to know; Moreover Here Are The FACTS; When you look in the Strongs Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible or the King James Hebrew/Greek Key Word Study Bible, Under the reference Lord there is a Hebrew code, 3068 יהוה which is YHWH. And concerning Jesus, go to the Greek Dictionary in the same reference book there is a Greek code 2424 which will take you to the Hebrew code 3091 which is Joshua,
which will take you back to the Hebrew 3068 יהוה which is YHWH. Note, when you read and apply the principles of 2 Timothy 2:15 You will know these facts That Joshua,
Jesus, Isaiah, Lord, Jehovah, John, Jonathan, and other names or titles will ALL
take you back to Hebrew Code 3068 יהוה YHWH. Moreover, I come in truth. All I ask is that you consider to study the facts and be blessed. And go and wake up your family and continue to be blessed. Praise Yahweh, Your Dear Brother Abraham
