Karen D. Griffin Strickland accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in August of 1984, under the leadership of Reverend M.K. Baxter at the Cathedral Of Love COGIC, in Willingboro, New Jersey. Her profession of faith led to her leaving an adulterous relationship, and seeking to live for and serve the Lord with her whole heart.

Upon relocating to Rochester, PA, the Lord enabled her to complete her B.S. degree in psychology at Geneva College. She also attended Geneva's graduate program in organizational leadership.

In spite of various successes and accomplishments, Karen has encountered many storms as she has sought to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. But God continues to work all things together for her good as she is one who loves God and is called according to His purpose. God has used these storms to give her insight and compassion for ministry to others.

Ministering to women is her calling and passion. The Lord has given her opportunities to minister to women in various settings, around numerous issues, including domestic violence, addiction, vocational guidance, life skills, to name a few.

Karen currently serves at the Lord of the Harvest COGIC, in Freedom, Pennsylvania, under the leadership of Reverend Wayne Bradley Cobb.
She is a licensed evangelist in the Church of God in Christ, and she teaches and preaches God's word as He gives opportunity.

She is a mother of three adult children , step-mother to two adult step-sons, and grandmother to five granddaughters. She resides in Rochester, Pennsylvania with her husband Joe E. Strickland.
