A Calvary Experience

As born again believers when we accept the work of Calvary (the shedding of Christ Blood) for your sins and mine, a wonderful change takes place our lives a Divine Transaction takes place. We well know that on the cross Jesus dealt with sin, the curse of the law granting all who by faith believe can boldly go to the throne for ourselves. At the cross the victory over the devil was declared he was rendered powerless (not even possessing keys to his own home.) Our human brokenness was fulfilled and physical sickness. Because of the blood of Jesus made it possible for us to be whole and complete in every way. Only by faith, we accept and declare a Calvary experience in our lives and what Jesus did for us… the benefits of the cross become our personal experience. So I encourage you to make it personal today, Calvary is not just a song sang or a story told it was a Divine experience that all believers can acknowledge has taken place in there lives. Declare Victory as Jesus did and walk in the authority of your Calvary experience.

Behind the masquerade

Behind the masquerade is a captive soul
Praying to be free to have and to hold…
These dreams are not mere dreams but a longing in my soul I cry out loud for there is a story untold…

You could never see past my pain nor can you imagine the gain…
Reach deep inside yourself and think for a moment could that be me do I hurt silently?
Do I long for much more or has life evened the score…

I pray some day to break out and truly experience life without the limits we place on ourselves be free form the captivity of our minds and freely believe the abundance of life God truly grants us.

Freedom is simply defined to me as the ability to know the destiny of who created and the purpose of why you were formed

Not by what we have nor our status in life no limits on who we love and how we give love even to those who hurt us …see past that too…

Be free to simply be YOU.

The Heart of Me

You think you can but you cannot see
What is deep inside and at the heart of me

You probe my mind; trying to get in my head
You think your inside but you’re only on the edge

You watch my actions and all that I do
Pointing out my faults and you have no clue

Your motives are selfish of this I am sure
Your thoughts are tainted and far from pure

You hold me back then hide like cowards
Afraid of my potential, my prowess, and my power

With your strength and numbers, you do no good
Your attention’s on me instead of being where it should

Through no fault but your own, you lie and deceive
You’re living a different life from what you say you believe

You vipers, how long do you want me to stay?
Until you perceive that I will do things my way

How long will you use me for nickels and dimes?
How long before you realize that this is my time to shine?

When will you see that the things you do are wrong?
When will you understand that you are not singing my song?

You tell me to slow down and move at your pace
I’ve been at this a long time and this is not a turtle race

Your going nowhere fast because of your ignorance and lies
Trying to drag me down because my strength you despise

In a fair world, defeat would be your only cohort and friend
Because lies and deception are the only ways you can win

Look at me and try to point out my faults and mistakes
Look at yourself to see what it is about me that you hate

Until you can do that you will never perceive or see
What lies deep inside and at the very heart of me....

“Mastering It In The Mind”

When my eyes are filled with tears and my voice is faint...my emotions are gripped by the turmoil fluttering from within. I can no longer smile on the outside while dying daily inside…praying in secret, pushing back the struggle I am feeling .Emotionally I have resolved to no longer live under the severity of societies myths and embraced realities.

I have found a validating truth and a everlasting words of peace and serenity. Spoken into my soul as life breathed from every word. “I am fearfully and wonderfully made whole by God. Despite the perplexities faced and the challenges, I have graced...my spirit yet soars above all obstacles .I am an overcomer, victourous and whole by the precious sanctified BLOOD of Jesus.

No more am I bound by the battle ground of thoughts and attacks on my self-esteem…

Walking today in freedom and wholeness is a choice so be inspired to RISE above and choose to live a life of Victory in Christ.
