Glenda J. Farmer is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. Glenda married her high school sweetheart, Retired SFC Jerome Farmer, Sr. Blessed to this union were two children and three grandchildren.

Glenda preached her initial sermon on August 24, 1997. She was licensed to minister by the Holy Spirit through the United American Free Will Baptist Denomination, Inc. Elder Farmer is truly dedicated to the Ministry of Helps. She has a passion for teaching, evangelism, planning, organizing events, and networking ministries and people together for the upbuilding of God’s Kingdom. She will support ministries through the use of her gifts and talents who's vision and mission is Christ-Centered.

Evangelist Farmer was ordained after the passing of her beloved pastor, Elder John W. Peek, by the ordination council of the United American Free Will Baptist Denomination, Inc., on February 26, 2005. Elder Farmer home church is Williams Chapel FWB Church in Spring Lake, NC where her grandparents, Thomas and Minda Jones, were the founders. She currently serves as an associate minister at Swann Chapel FWB Church under the pastoralship of Elder Tommie Hargrove.

A.S.A.P. Outreach Ministry - "All Souls Are Precious" assists many pastors, churches and ministries throughout the area. The mission of A.S.A.P. is to network pastors, churches, ministries, and laity together as a Christian family for the sole purpose of Kingdom Building and Christian Fellowship. Elder Farmer has a vision to promote unity in the Body of Christ through love, compassion, and worship by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The music department of Shiloh U.C.C. is seeking a qualified and creative part-time piano player to play every Sunday of the month for the Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, Young Adult/Youth Choir, and the Mass Choirs. Shiloh U.C.C. enjoys a mix of contemporary and traditional gospel music. Interested candidates must be able to teach vocal parts, recommend new songs, work with a team, work with the current Minister of Music and follow directions. Additionally, the part-time piano player must be able to travel with choirs and the church congregation in support of the pastor for invitations at other churches. The candidate must be able to practice with choirs at least twice a week in preparation for Sunday morning service. Candidates that can read music is a plus (not mandatory).

Shiloh United Church of Christ is located in rural Fayetteville, NC close to the Baywood subdivision and golf course. The church is under new leadership and headed in a new direction. To get in on the ground level of a growing ministry will be both musically and spiritually rewarding.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Candidates must have at least five years of experience in playing for a church or in a church setting.
• Must have own transportation
• Must be dependable
• Must be able to play both traditional and contemporary gospel
