A Preachers Passage

Hebrews 5:7--Hebrews 5:7

Did this fear arise from the infernal suggestion that He was utterly

forsaken. There may be sterner trials than this, but surely it is one

of the worst to be utterly forsaken? "See," said Satan, "thou hast a

friend nowhere! Thy Father hath shut up the bowels of His compassion

against thee.

Not an angel in His courts will stretch out his hand to

help…

A Passage for the Preacher

Matthew 26:39--Matthew 26:39

There are several instructive features in our Saviour's prayer in His

hour of trial. It was lonely prayer. He withdrew even from His three

favoured disciples. Believer, be much in solitary prayer, especially in

John 16:32--John 16:32

Few had fellowship with the sorrows of Gethsemane. The majority of the

but are mere babes as to the spirit of the gospel.

To twelve, nay, to eleven only was the privilege given to enter Gethsemane and…

The Resurrection and Sanctification

Posted on March 21, 2011 at 11:17am 0 Comments

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may

know...what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who

believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked

in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right

hand in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 1:18-20)

Just as the resurrection had an essential role in our starting out with

God (in justification), it also plays an…

If you see an opportunity for yourself, give me a call at 973-229-6349. Blessings to you & your family!
