- Pastor James D. Yarbrough is a servant of the Lord with a passion for winning the lost. Pastor J. began his preaching and teaching ministry at the tender of fifteen years old, and under the guiding hand of his father and mother, the late Pastor Jimmy Yarbrough and his mother Pastor Joyce Yarbrough, he learned the importance of prayer, a holy lifestyle, and walking in the gifts of the Spirit. For the past nineteen years Pastor J. has ministered in prisons, under tents, on the street, and churches large and small. He goes whereever God sends him. With his unique and powerful preaching style he encourages and compells change with a message of love and compassion.
In 2003, the Lord called Pastor J. to Warrren, AR. where he was appointed as shephard of the Powerhouse Church of God in Christ. He along with his lovely wife of eleven years, Evangelist Missionary Latoya Yarbrough, have made a significant impact for God in their short six year pastorate. Lady LaToya is an anointed psalmist and evangelist for the Kingdom. She works with the music ministry and is over the children's ministry. Recently God has opened a door and gave Pastor J. and his wife new territory. Because of the impact of ministry and the hand of God, they began a second ministry called Praise Tabernacle Family Worship Center.
Pastor Yarbrough is a young man who is being led by God and touching lives for the Kingdom.

IN THE MIDST OF THE ECONOMIC SHAKING THAT THIS WORLD IS IN, GOD WANTS HIS PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT HE IS GOD, AND HE WILL TAKE CARE OF US! SO MANY CHRISTIANS HAVE EVEN TAKEN ON THE WORRIED MENTALITY OF THE WORLD, BUT GOD'S WORD IS TRUE AND WE WILL COME OUT VICTORIOUS! THE KEY TO THIS VICTORY IS STAYING FAITHFUL TO GOD.
